This compilation is 90% hilarious, and 10% kind of a critique on the overall building mechanics design of TotK. This is Arin, sure, and he gets some good moments in, now and then, but you can absolutely see his line of thinking and he definitely isn't the only player who has spent more time trying to build something that would convenience themselves than it would've taken for them to just do it themselves anyways
Arin's line of thinking is constantly being interrupted and rushed because hes recording a show and having Dan sometimes pushing him to hurry up or otherwise 'derailing' his train of thought. the game basically shows you an example of what you need to do nearby every puzzle. The main difference between TotK and BotW is the building so complaining that "too much shit requires it" is such a weird take, it's part of the core gameplay mechanic that sets it apart from the game its meant to be a sequel for. It sounds like you just wanted more BotW DLC. It's hilarious that one of your reasons to stop playing was "I can't get to unreachable places", did you ever take the time to consider or reconsider that maybe those places have a reason you aren't meant to reach there using the method you were trying? Like maybe it's to stop you from getting to an area before you have more supplies like you would later in the game, OR maybe it really was an unreachable place in which case why are you trying to get there so hard? If it's meant to be unreachable there wouldn't be anything for you to get outside of the feeling of being a place you weren't meant to be. Why did you play this game if all you did was try to get to places you couldn't and disliked the building mechanic that was heavily advertised lol
Soooo… am I correct in assuming that Sbassbear and the Game Grumps channel blatantly ripped you off by posting the video they posted today? Because it honestly seems like they’re taking credit for an idea you came up with two months ago.
i would say no for a couple of reasons. firstly I'm not the only person to have made a compilation like this, several others already existed before i uploaded mine. secondly, it wasn't my idea to do this in the first place, rather i made it because of that episode when danny says "it's just one more for the inevitable compilation", and realised that i could easily make such a compilation. i then took an ungodly amount of time to finish editing the thing and upload it. finally, this "content" belongs to the grumps, not me. i don't own the concept of compilation videos and it's not as if they just reuploaded my edit without crediting me or anything. it's also very possible that they've been sitting on their compilation for a long time and wanted to wait until a sufficient amount of time had passed before releasing it. if they release things like this just after the main series ends people might not want to rewatch something they've just seen, but if it's been a year people are more likely to click. in any case i don't really care, and their video is less than half the length of mine anyway so i am confident saying that mine is closer to definitive.

ALTTP still remains the best Zelda game ever made, this game has too much bullshit bloat.
20:35 OOOOPS!!!
