Great review thank you. I wanna let you know how much I love your channel and how much it’s helping me as I’m venturing into videography and loving everything about it. Just purchased this light and I’m loving it. Pa ra pa pa pa !!! Also one more thing what stand would you recommend for this lovely light? Thank you.
You are so welcome! Thanks for the kind words. As for what stand, a C-stand works great but is pretty heavy and hard to lug around. I have two Manfroto light stands that are expensive, but are relatively light and have a boom arm built in. Manfrotto 420NSB Convertible Boom Stand - 12.8' (4m). Otherwise any reputable brand makes a great stand as long as you add sandbags. Good luck.
Very nice job explaining the benefits of the LS60x. That feature set is very appealing to me at that price point. Unfortunately, I'm really bumping up against my gear budget for the year. Saved this video to rewatch later--that way I can use the affiliate link if I decide to purchase.
I own the ls60 x it’s an amazing light :) sure there are more expensive lights that are more powerful, but this is relatively inexpensive and the Sidus link is fantastic!
Great video! Your channel has a few really nice and helpful videos on it, I like the comparisons a lot as well. I am considering buying this light, or the 300C or the 300x (or d Mkii) to replace an Amaran 672S with a space light draped over it as a keylight which is a bit underpowered in some locations I work in. In your experience, does a regular heavy duty light stand work for all 3 or would I need a C-stand from a certain point? I intend to use them with a Light Dome III. Since I always shoot on location I gravitate towards the 60x(or d) and the 300d because of their build quality and the package they come in... I also own one of the MC's which I really like.
I need a C stand for my LS600 X pro. I don’t need that for the LS 60 X. I don’t have a LS300 but I would assume that C stand would be appropriate as it has a large brick on the side. Thanks for the encouragement. I hope this was helpful.
I can’t imagine it. It’s only 15 W and there is no way to mount it to the soft box. I would recommend the amaran 60 XS for a fantastic small like that fill most midsize soft boxes.
Can you use the Aputure Light Dome SE with this light? I'm going to be shooting in a warehouse quite a bit and need something quick to set up for interviews and products. I realize you CAN just based on the mount...but is this a good solution?
I don’t see that there would be any problem with the LS 60 filling up the light dome SE. i’m sure it will work great. You may want to change the beam angle to make it as even as possible.
Man, I really liked this light until it just straight-up died on me after 3 years of light use and mostly sitting in a studio. Just tried to power it on one morning and it didn't do a thing.
Lets go! Love seeing u getting sponsored!
Thanks. I’m very excited. Appreciate the encouragement.
Really love the way you break things down, and it was fun to see your interaction with your granddaughter in the MT Pro vs MC Pro video!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.

That’s awesome. Thanks.
The daylight version is incredible as well. Zero regrets.
I’ve actually been thinking about getting the daylight version seeing how much brighter it is. Good to know that it’s working well for you.

Totally agree! Nice to know I’m not the only one. Thanks.

It sure does@@storybabble thanks, and keep up the great work!
Thanks for the review ! can it spreads light enough to cover an Aputure Lightbox 30x120 ?

@@storybabble it's a 60W not 15W ?
Do you think the offer will be also in EU too ? I 'm on the point to get an used one for that price ...
I don’t know about the EU. I’ll try and find out. I’ve saved a lot over the years buying used. Enjoy!

What is the v mount that you usedt? I see you had the small rig. Which one is that?
I have two VB-50s. Good eye.
Does it have DMX support?
Sadly it does not. I believe Aputure products that have DMX support have the word “Pro” after them.

Wow. That Horrible. Good to know. Thanks for sharing.
