- I visited Ōzu Castle and learned about its history! How did warriors immigrate across Japan? Is it true that castles were relocated from one island to another? What were effective castle designs in thwarting attacks? It was great to enter castle towers that had survived from the Edo period. I was especially impressed by the Ōzu castle keep that had been restored very close to the original by the great efforts of the Ōzu people!

David, Ozu is a very nice town. It's very walkable. You can go canoeing on the river next to the castle. They also have a festival where they fish by using birds.
@sachikoexploringhistory... So much research Sachiko! I remember Ozu very well and canoeing on the Hiji River. Can you make a video about the Pirates of Seto nan Kai?

That would be great. Head to Yawatahama and Uwajima area. I heard many stories about pirates when I lived there.
