Agreed on everything you said about this kit. I built up the Full Burner not too long ago & I didn’t have any of the troubles most said they had. I’ve now built a few variants of the GP’s now (RG&MG) to date. Thanks for sharing yours. Now I just gotta get mine out of the ole backlog lol
My first kit was RG GP01Fb because it was feature in one of Linkin Park music video, gotta say I love it. The top of the body doesn't lock onto the core fighter all that well though. Other than that everything else is solid, may be not the RG hands cause they can't hold anything properly.
I build this kit yesterday and you right, this kit is solid as rock, althought there's weight issue when i attached the shield to his hand. Overall i like the proportion this kit
I am pining for a MG 2.0 of the GP01/02/03 as 0083 is my favorite Gundam series. It's well animated, has a brisk, yet action packed story and good characters. I might cave and get the RG some day.
I politely disagree with the plastic deterioration. I got my GP02 FB and my Wing Gundam custom EW in brand new & fresh release condition. Some parts does not fit and some are loose. Just like the core fighter. Really, the 1st 10 or what ever RGs are hand grenades. You are extremely blessed to not have the same issue. Good for you. Hopefully the rest of my kits does not do that. I'm about to assemble the tallgeese and sazabi..
It is possible that Mark's kit was the exception to the rule. I also know that Gaijin Gunpla did not encounter any issues with the kit so maybe a reprint of the mold fixed some of the issues but we cant say for sure. Mark can only judge a kit with the experience he had with it. The rg tallgeese and sazabi are fantastic. They fiixed a lot of issues that the early rg had
The only RG worthy of the 'hand grenade' title is RG Zeta. The full pre-build frame line has its issues (fragility, various points of loose connections) but they're far from being grenades.
Sorry to hear mate As you see here I only had minor issues easy fix with a drop of cement The tallgeese I review already here on GN great kit! Just be cautious on shoulder movement and rear verniers The sazabi is coming up next!
I generally enjoy RG's based on the ones I do have. The engineering that goes into these things at the scale is very cool. What's your plan on painting it? Any color changes or areas that didnt have color separation from the plastic? I have the full vanier snapped up but haven't decided how to finish it.
Is there an advantage to having this kit over the FB? Unless one was a completionist or just want the different core fighter, I would think the FB would be the one to get imo. Don't get me wrong, they're both awesome, just think the upgraded version is the go-to.
A few months late here, but I was just looking at both in a store, and I went with the RG 12 over the RG 13 FB just because I like the look of the non-FB that much more. It's definitely all preference.
So far some peoples reported having a good experience with the kit while other had a really bad one. I can only tell you that for me everything was perfectly fine
With the work Bandai did on the RG Sazabi and, recently, the Nu Gundam, I guess it's now high time to have an RG Physalis.
The GP line needs another shot at the Master Grade line, though with a likely recession coming are way, I'm not expecting Bandai to get to it.
You are speaking the truth
Hopefully they revive their high grade kits and successfully have master it like other best hg Gundam kits

Yes 0083 is a must see. I should acquire one of these since I don't have a GP01 but I'm leaning towards something bigger since I've got the MG GP-02

Amazing kit. No issues with the torso connection on mine, it was solid as a rock.

@@nm2358 Good thing, I don't have that on my RG list... I might get the latest HG version of that though...
@@KirkysWorld Yeah, been thinking about that for the past 5 years LOL! I might just glue it to keep in place for good.. Thanks man!
Did you ever get the RG Mk.II? I remember your review of the MG but wasn't sure if you had an RG. It's still one of the sweetest RG's to this day
Yep we reviewed the RG MK II its one of the best RG as of yet . Really impressive ruclips.net/video/7TBbfTaiFWQ/видео.html
Great review mark
We need a gp03 come on bandai!
I agree would like to see the GP03 Dendrobium Stamen as a RG same with its large mobile armor unit
favorite rx 78 variant
Well now I know my next rg

Raimy Mohamad it is great engineering mate
So for me I’m gonna change it to rollout colours like red white grey
Still waiting on the review on the RG GP01fb

Havent built the FB as of yet but I will since i just love the stardust memories kits
I prefer the ground look over the fb it’s all personal preference

Hey what song you use for video it so chill can i get a song name
It kinda of has perfect grade proportions
it really does
I'm thinking about buying this from ebay and I'm scared of getting the kit like unstable or like someone said hand grenade
So far some peoples reported having a good experience with the kit while other had a really bad one. I can only tell you that for me everything was perfectly fine
Worth the risk! Mine was fine built carefully
Hahaaa great thanks for the answer guyys
Kamikaze Crusher anytime
I also think about playing and posing with the gundam😂
Pls do the RG Gundam GP01FB
we will do down the line, we are trying to go through the entire RG catalog
RG GP01FB PLLSS!!
its on the list it will come
👍👍👍
Is it me or do those real grade posable hands always look too big/not proportional
Best proportion for this model. Terrible structure. Top half doesn't stay secured when connected to its lower half.
slyph12 I didn’t find that at all funnily enough
9:50 The Re-Gz has a similar thing in it's feet, and in CCA it uses it to plant itself onto the ground
That make a lot of senses thank you
Oh god this pile of shit it broke in 2 days
