I love how he explained his power to byakuya and rukia in total weirdo manner is just superb. Also his vollstandig very similar to the aizens form during his battle against ichigo
It's ironic, he was weak and near death while also fearing death itself. Then Yhwach, who also fears death, came along and As Nodt became the opposite. A terror inducing killing machine. His ultimate humbling of Byakuya will always be chilling, especially since the Shinigami have not encountered such psychological fear tactics. In a way As Nodt used modern warfare to utterly destroy the pride of the Kuchiki. His death was cathartic.

@@manuelacosta9463 I really like the theme of Yhwach being a Dark Messiah, that both saves and damms his followers. Which is why his ultimate downfall was brought about by two of his "children", all of whom he always callously discarded in pursuit of ensuring his own immortality.
It contrasts really well with Aizen, the Man who ascended to Godhood, but was defeated because of his own internal struggles.
One is a being born as a God that feared death, the other is a man who even after becoming a God could understand why death helps give life meaning.
@@jrgenvellesen7800 That he is. At least his top subordinate, Haschwald had an epiphany and organized an escape for the survivors just before the end with his female partner. Thanks to both a significant portion of Quincy now live quietly in the human world. A far cry from Yhwach.
@@manuelacosta9463 Indeed. For all his faults, Jugram proved himself to be far more worthy of the title of Emperor then Yhwach with his final actions. Be it ensuring the survival of the Quincy or encouraging Uryu to aid his friends.
It is a telling contrast that Jugram in his dying moments felt regret about killing his only friend, while Yhwach in his final moments cursed Ichigo for stopping him from creating a world where he would be rid of his own fears, while disregarding the fact that no one else would be truly happy in such a world.

I just quickly want to say thank you for following the rankings of the espada 😭🙏 I really find it annoying how people really try there hardest to explain a silly or even stupid reason why this characters is the strongest even though it's been confirmed by the writer number of times

As Nodt is so busted. His fight against Rukia was my favorite non-schutzstaffel fight of the arc. I’m surprised you have him over Bazz b though, when he was able to offset Ryujin Jakka😦

He only managed to offset it enough so they wouldn't die. He was still knocked out along with as nodt. Yamas random shikai swing > bazz b burner finger and blut vene
I'd say he, Bazz B, Bambietta, Mask and Quilge are the most powerful non elite sternritters.
And maybe liltoto too shes super underrated

Was As Nodt a Quincy at first? As Nodt had a Bible next to him and thought of heaven rather than the Soul Society. He seems like a regular human who was just turned into a Quincy. Yhwach has that power as the "Father of the Quincy." It would be in Yhwahc's character to find random vulnerable people and recruit them as his pawns to use for his purposes.
This is a good question. I would assume a quincy because when yhwach came to vist him he said "so you survived" so maybe it was during the quincy extermination

It makes me sad that people belittle the Sternritter who practically killed Byakuya, they call him weak, they call him an idiot, they call him pathetic, they consider him weaker than people of the stature of Giselle or Meninas... But they seem to forget that if he were not Because of the horrible fanbase that Byakuya has, he would have died in the first invasion, I think Kubo said that he did want to kill him but they forced him to revive him and that's why he is there, alive, with a tremendous increase in power that makes it the task of killing him something practically impossible unless you are Schutzstaffel level or above, always maintaining that arrogance, pretending that their near-death experience had never happened.

Anyway, excellent video captain, I hope you continue doing these analyses, they are very useful for information and are entertaining to watch on an afternoon of relaxation, in my opinion I firmly believe that Äs Nödt could have been the 5th member of the Schutzstaffel if Kubo had planned a psychological fight for the Royal Palace.

Would you ever consider scaling the high tier Espada (0-4) to the sternritter? I can’t see guys like Cangdu or Robert acutrone tanking a Lanzadel relampago
No i agree you with 100% i STILL think the top espada are still very relevant. Yammy starrk barragan ulquiorra and maybe harribel. I would compare them to some of the top normal sternritters. The espada also have a major advantage because of their hollow reiatsu. They are naturally much more powerful than the sternritters

Am I off base; or do many of the Sternritters come off as children? At least the ones below elite level? I mean, arrogance isn't exactly exclusive to any one race in this show, but good God were these guys high on themselves! I understand where some of the ego and cockiness comes from with guys like Gremmy, Bazz-B and As Nodt, but some of the others the sheer level of arrogance is shocking. Take that one who killed Sasakibe, or the squad who tried to blitz Zaraki.
And so many of them seemed to act like this was a game, like their schrifts, or the Bankai they stole were new toys. That line about lacking ruthlessness being their only flaw feels like there's more to the way many of the Sternritters behave. That or getting that kind of power suddenly resets your mind to the time before puberty.

Yeah as nodt is one of the strongest non elite level quincys along with mask bazz b and bambietta honestly people downplay Bambi way too much nowadays saying stuff like she’s not one of the strongest normal quinces or not the strongest of the bambis even though she is I will say though all of the bambis including bambietta got buffed because of the anime being able to enhance their vollstanding with Sklaverei and getting new feats and attacks I personally think all of the Bambis are pretty relative to each other with bambietta being the strongest and liltoto being the second strongest

My personal opinion how i would rank the Bambis is
1 bambi
2 liltoto
3 Candice
4 meninas
5 giselle
I think the last 3 are very close in power and have equal feats against ichigo but meninas has the worst shrift among them and giselles doesn’t work on quinces unless their dead and it requires some prep time I think Candice is underrated not only does she have the strongest shrift between meni and Gigi and the same feats against ichigo but she also fought buyakuya post royal palace while she was fatigued low on power and injured from bazz b obvious I don’t think she’s as strong as him but doing anything to that buyakuya while in her condition is very impressive in my book

I forgot to mention them but i have quilge and nianzol above as nodt. I consider them elites are at least above the normal sternritters. Since nianzol was brought to the royal palace and quilge is special
