Omiyage refers to the traditional Japanese custom of gift-giving. During workshops and residency activities, we teach “Omiyage” and offer it to communities as our “omiyage” in thanks for bringing us out to share our show. This song is a celebration of our love of taiko, and the excitement of seeing taiko for the first time.
The video was filmed by TaikoProject in The Japanese Garden in May 2021, funded by a grant from the City of Los Angeles' Department of Cultural Affairs.
