Bf3, Bf4, Bf1, BfV - none of these games have SBMM and are some of if not THE best casual shooters of all time! Upvote if you want SBMM removed for good!
Sadly, it is NOT about if the game is good. It is about how much money you can make. There were no cosmetics in BF3/BF4, so they could focus on a good game that sells well. And they made money just by game sales alone. As soon as there are cosmetics (required for a F2P title), they have to focus on ways to sell them. BF5 had cosmetics and I guess they did not sell too good. Most likely this was the reason for the abomination we got with BF2042 with those stupid 'specialists'. Let's hope for BF next to not have cosmetics and they can finally focus on a game with such amazing gameplay that they can sell MANY copies of the game just because of that. Benefits all players and should satisfy even EA.

You’re playing well, your team is doing great, and then suddenly, you start getting killed frequently, and your team begins losing - This happens way too often for my taste. As for those instant deaths, I initially blamed high ping, but there might be more to it than that.
It's because people quit the match and better players join. The only thing that feel like it's being manipulated are the tickets, sometimes your team has been holding 4 flags for 70% of the match, yet the enemy team is close on points, doesn't make much sense.
It is a very similar feeling to the BF V release and connected netcode issues and the server ping/desync. I agree, especially in the breakthrough mode during player peaks, I have a lot of games with 1-2 objective captures and high kills, good progression. And then all of a sudden it feels like everyone is shooting like they own an RGB gaming chair and have godlike aim and the game turns on you.

They need to add a server browser, straight up. I’m sick of not being able to choose my map and getting thrown into the losing side of an in-progress game.
They are definitely not telling us the whole story with the sbmm. It’s very clearly making the games much harder for people as time goes on. A game with this many people in a match shouldn’t have any sbmm at all. All they need is a good team balancer so games aren’t all 1 sided I have also noticed the weird mid game shifts as well. I will be slaying out so hard on A and B sectors and be top 5 on scoreboard and then when we start taking C I all of the sudden am getting shit on by the same guys I was just dropping easily earlier. Does feel very strange for sure and at times I thought maybe the other team stepped up but now I’m not so sure
The same guys? I doubt, in my experience, people quit half way and some better guys join in their place, that's why the game turns around. I've experienced the opposite, where the match became easier, and from my perspective i was clearly facing less skilled people, as everything they did was dumber, there was no TTK help or anything like that, if your entire movement and actions could be manipulated, we would have noticed right away.
EOMM, engagement optimized matchmaking. They will deliberately put you in easy games then hard ones so you WANT to keep playing to try getting back those easy games. They aren't lying about SBMM because its actually EOMM

Oh, one more thing. In an article published at the end of November, they ACKNOWLEDGED the game had a strict SBMM with multiple skill pools. They get a lot of backlash and then the developer says they only separate beginners from the rest... I mean two contradictory statements, come on. Just do some research, seriously. Oh and as long as you keep playing the game, talking about it, nothing's going to change. You are now locked in the same cod loop. However, it's likely DF will go down by the time next BF drops. But thanks to people like you, we are now risking SBMM in Battlefield as well
Aimbot definitely not, but he might be using something to reduce the amount of recoil he has (not 100% sure as I know there's lots of attachments and the calibration setting too, which I'm not familiar with) but he literally has 0 recoil, I've used a fair few guns and experimented with a few attachments and I cannot remove the recoil fully, I'm always having horizontal recoil which throws me off, now I know all you have to do, is either pull straight down or pull down to the left or right depending on the recoil spread, but from all the clips I've seen, he does have 0 recoil, im not accusing him of using some software to remove recoil, but it's definitely a little suspicious.

Regarding SBMM it is 100% correct to assume that this is NOT a 2 bracket system. Unless they have the beginner brackt and the 'top 5%' bracket. In BF we are usually top squad and usually with K/D >3 (sometimes lower, but that is rare and never
@@Maxiq we are an old gaming clan, focusing mostly on Battlefield. We are around since BF1942, while most of the players currently playing joined around the time of BFBC2 or BF Vietnam. Given how bad the current BF is we were looking for something else, but if you can't play with your friends, then we are out. With BF2042 you already have to put in some work to join together. In the past we run our own servers where we had our VIP slots, we had a balancer, map vote and all that. The last time we could do that was BF4. I doubt this will even come back again.
I'm experiencing exactly the same thing 😅 I thought I was just crazy, but it turns out I'm not the only one. I feel like there is some kind of manipulation in the game, it doesn't feel right to anything I've played over the years. Then those kills that a person makes and can't explain, after a few minutes you're dying in the most absurd way possible, it's not consistent. Something doesn't add up
Max there are AI bots in the game like in Cod!! They say they removed bots but they lying!! Thats why suddenly your match switch and it looks that everybody is suddenly good or bad!! They use bots to rigg your game!! I saw a video where they explained that they made the bots look like humans, so why all the effort looking these bots like humans and than say oooh there gone because you guys want too! The AI bots are a piece off the match making system!!
When you play BF or Insurgency Sandstorm, it is OBVIOUS that there is a broad spectrum of players on each team. Rounds are random. When you play this game, it is OBVIOUS that everyone is twitchy pro. There is simply no way this is a protected bracket and then everyone else. They are lying. It can't all be de-sync. The people I am playing against never miss. They is no spray, no panic, no delay dealing with threats, no indicators at all that you see from DECADES of playing BF games.
Great video Max. I'm experiencing the same. More sweaty games when more people play, and in A/D suddenly I have no hit reg anymore. Plus, when I had a good game I tend to end up on servers with higher ping in the next match. And on these servers I also constantly die in one frame, but need a whole mag to kill someone. Feels like a punishment.
There is absolutely no way there are only 2 bracketts. The more I've played, the sweatier my lobbies have become. I've honestly gotten to the point Ive sworn off Operations and I'm not playing as much Warfare as I would otherwise. Honestly I'm starting think that the game will always be frustrating every time I play it. I'm already thinking about quitting. It is not fun playing in bascially the same lobby every single match with the same KD ratio and a 50% win rate. This is not the combined arms sandbox experience that I thought I would be able to goof off in.
Spot on about the game experience changing mid match. None of my shots feel like they’re registering, the hitboxes feel like they’re shrinking. Does anyone else feel like the hitboxes get smaller after playing a long time? The game feels rigged like cod.
As for the sudden game pace shifts, I noticed it's related to team spawns. It happens very abruptly, suddenly the defenders start spawning from further away, while attackers get more advanced spawns. If the defenders do not have a spawn beacon around that time, most people will not be revived and it throws games HARD. I make sure to keep that 8k squad points available when I'm defending and try to notice the moment the spawns shift. It has won me numerous games, no joke.
The only thing that doesnt make alot of sense to me is that i end up in the same lobby as the same players fairly consistently, if it were only 2 brackets wouldn't this not be happening in a game with like 80000 players. I am still enjoying my games for the most part though everyfew games i get thrown into a completely imbalanced lobby, which might actually stand for the two bracket system, maybe im doing well for a few matches and then it puts me into the good player matches and i start to get rolled lol but id like to think its not that lol
u should understand every region have different server not all 80k player in same server lol , im from asean i never meet player from europe or usa . its always like that in every game i play , for example rainbow six , overwatch i only meet asean player , and sometime face same player again too
@@freshmaker6441 I guess i would still assume more than enough people in one region (particularly NA) to fill up a wide array of servers across two brackets. Though i wouldn't be surprised if NA has a very low player base because of xenophobia, that is a good point though, i have no idea how many people are in my region. My ping is super inconsistent which also leads me to believe that i am not too region locked, i don't typically have ping above 100-120 ms in NA servers. I also play with players internationally sometimes so that might have its own community as well
You're pretty spot on with these topics. I wonder if their servers just can't handle the load of 64 fighters and it starts dragging players by whatever algorithm they have in place. Something like trying to force level ping rate, which is why I quit playing COD when I found out that they do that. I'm at a low-mid range skill level, but even I can see this at times. I'd be on the side that's losing and all the sudden we're winning and I'm like scratching my head thinking HTF did that happen. Did all those sweaty mofos just quit the match, or did we just all the sudden get better players? And the 2-tap thing is exactly the crap I was dealing with in COD. Thought it was ping issue to find out they were throttling on the server side. So frustrating.
Now that you mentioned it, almost everyone during Christmas is playing and that made the lobby a lot sweatier. My K/D per match is more like 1.2 rather than my actual K/D which is 1.4. And when the Christmas day passed everything seems to be more laxed specifically in KoH.
There shouldn’t be SBMM in any game Regardless, like we aren’t playing Ranked we are playing Causal. I miss when Games like BO2 had the Perfect Matching such as Connection base You have a mix of Bad Good Average and Sweats Its never the same every game like we have now
I've been thinging the samething. Earlier in the day, I feel like I can chill and have fun, and more people are playing the objective and reviving. More players come online, nobody is even near the objective, no one revives, and everyone running around like COD. Also feel like there is no way there isn't still bots, because there are something that people can't be so oblivious unless they are bots. And 100% noticing that too only certian players, no matter what operator they are I get 300+ xp for damaging them, and they'll turn around and two shot me often with the same gun.
You say this but if it didn’t new people get wrecked and leave as it sucks to play. Then all you end up with is the same problem of only versing sweats but now the game has died and isn’t getting content as the casual players aren’t there to justify supporting the game

Don't know if they're straight up lying but smth is off. Had the complete opposite experience, pretty chill games on the weekend, consistent 40-60 Kill Games without extreme sweat. For sure some Christmas-Gamers but had to work for the top and it felt rewarding. Today only got matched into half done games, extremly one sided and struggled to get even 20 kills

I have experienced the instant switch mid match, Kinda like rubber banding in racing games. Been playing since day 1 and It's been consistent as far as how games flow until the last 2 days. All of a sudden the flow will switch almost like it keeping one side from steam rolling the other.
i have definitely been feeling the 1 frame deaths. as a recon at a medium to long range engagements 90% of the time getting hit by 3 bullets or sometimes even 2 bullets from an smg and i die was getting annoying to a point where i wont even respawn and just leave my computer.

I'm defending in last sector in Accession and the enemy is not pushing at all. I've waited about 1 to 2 minutes then some pop out but not as hard as the previous sector
7:45 map design probably impacts team performance on A/D look at the first sector on trenches. it gets taken very quickly by A team. but B sector maybe a lot less quickly cus of how its designed so it seems like team defense is better maybe??
Map design definitely impacts a teams performance. But I have had games where all the good players are on one side and still get crushed out of nowhere. So that is why I wondered if something else is off as well

I don't feel like there is ans SBMM in the game AT ALL. I played my first game verry well and that it feeled like i was getting thrown is sweatlobbies all the time. And let me tell you, getting lazerbeamed across the map by a fully modded m4a1 at Level 2 wasn't funny

The merit system needs to be looked at you can be doing all your class objectives and capturing objectives if you are not getting kills but at completely contributing respawns rezzes what not you can get a neg merit which just feel bad
I have like 2 levels to get marshall, my average game is 85 kills and I use double Xp cards and double merit cards , the thing that sometimes I dont feel like I need to shoot 85 people to win I contribute a lot for the whole team to win, I hit like 29 kills but at the same without me the team loses everything intresting point you are talking about it feels like you are unappreciated.
They're not lying it's not SBMM. It's EOMM, Engagement Optimized matchmaking. Basically they'll throw you into easy games then hard ones so you would want to play again just to get back that feeling in the easy games. That's why you go 29/7 then 19/14 and immediately wanna jump back in to try going 29/7 again
regarding the situations when the match changes tides in warefare, there could be many situations: -Bots and people replacing them could have an effect: Its well known that the game has bots. Movement, shooting, etc, is umbelievable that a 90yr old or a toddler could play like that. I've joined games that have already started; so there is a chance I replaced a bot. So, real players joining a game could affect the outcome: if the bots are bad, if 5 or 10 good (relative to the lobby) players join, they could change the tides. If the bots "are doing ok" at holding, but 5, 10 very aggresive (but not so good) players join, this could change the game. -Also building onto the effect of players joining into already started games, this could be replacing previous real players, and in theory having the possible 2 outcomes. -another point is both vehicle and stri,e usage. I´ve seen teams spam vehicles and them getting wrecked to very good engineers, and also ive seen 1 tank mow down a team because no one bothered to change kit to engineer. To this, add the usage of artillery and guided missles, and the tactical usage of respawn beacons (both having designated marksmans per squad or someone using the team wide). I believe that in a ways, aside from all other issues that of course are not minor, a match changing tides could be more a syntom of unskilled / skilled teams. (maybe game balance tho, Im not an expert); but I'd like to believe that if we have a lot of noobs, this means a lot of people could get interested in warfare like games. This and delta force getting traction since its free, could put pressure into other IP´s (ehem, battlefield) that have kinda been sleeping
Very good analysis. I truly hope this game becomes succesfull and with 90K players it so far seems to do great. But some of the things feeling of in the game needs explenation. So far, at least for me, this is causing some frustrations.
legit all that keeps happening to me is that.. 1 shot death and they soak up 60 or so rounds first showing all hitmarkers.. too many built in wall hacks and also the cheaters are sickening.. that type ofdamn anti cheat we have to use and it doesnt even fucking make a lick of difference.
Over 180 hours in warzone game mode. Match making is perfect the way it is. I don't think there is a match making. I think it just throws in anybody who's in the queue. But I have seem the same person in a few of my matches, so it's possible. But for the most part skill is vastly different between players on every match. I like it that way. I hope it never changes. Some days it's nice to carry, other days it's nice to be carried. Some days, you just get curbed stomped and it's ok, it keeps the game fresh. (Your video looks like you're playing bots. I've never seen such a bunch of noobs in a game before. I have NEVER been that lucky.) Regarding that complete 180 turn around, it's because a lot of people are sore loosers. The match starts going poorly so they quit the game. Then people like me get thrown into the losing team from mid game. Basically average to better than average players are thrown into the now empty team to even it out. Suddenly an infux of players who don't suck, just replaced people who didn't want to put in any effort into that match. Happens A LOT. I don't care, I'll stick through the end to any match. Even if I get put in one of those matches half way through and we're getting pounded. Getting killed is the fastest way to make you better.
I don't feel that the game has any complex sbmm, but I think that possibly the idea that there are two groups, the new ones and the experienced ones, is not entirely true and that they just tried to simplify things so that their words would not be misinterpreted. If you have noticed an increase in try hard players, it is entirely possible that more players who are very skilled, returned to the game or have recently tried it, the ratio of "good" and "bad" players does not have to be 50/50 In fact, it is likely that no game has a ratio of skilled players to low-skilled players that is this balanced. Finally, I have also noticed that on some occasions the course of the game changes abruptly, but I have to say that I have noticed very varied games in general, games where my team crushes the rival team, rivals that crush my team, and Quite balanced games.
I personally after 30 hours of gameplay, me and most of my friends stopped playing the game, every single match its a sweat fest, dying from anywhere in the map, peeking from a cover insta headshot, its not fun and there is no damn way its only "beginner and everyone else" pool, i moved to marvel rivals with my friends instead, at least there i can quick play and and get a random result each time i match, just like EVERY DAMN BATTLEFIELD was, so yea.
This is why we need server browsers, no iffs buts or maybes around it, these games really only should function on browsers. Even 2042 had very very light SBMM as far as an EA comm manager saying so, but it wasn't egregious or really noticeable at all tbh. This has been pretty bad, though i've barely played the past week, kinda burnt out on the game already, 5 maps on launch just isn't enough and if we are getting 1 map per content drop like 2042, it's gonna be very boring very fast.
Some times playes join so late in in the game. It happens to me many times. I join at the last 10 mins of a game . I guess thats why the game might change or feels harder over time
I’ve noticed on defense when you get the attacking team below 100 resources when you die then spawn back in on an objective you start spawning farther away

I think any SBMM in this kind of game is absurd...it's participation-trophy generation BS. And, I'm more and more in games where the winning team suddenly starts getting their ass kicked - instant deaths, flags changing in the time it takes to respawn...complete BS and happens frequently -- they can't convince me there's nothing to it, they are "gaming the system". They're creating a dishonest system in gaming's version of "equity". It'll turn into a big pile of steaming crap if they keep this up. And, its just dumb...the early enthusiasm was for something other than that BS we get with Battlefield (and the whole pile of other crud that comes with COD).
None of that is real, it's just whining really, one frame deaths is just a server delay, you didn't die instantly from the enemy perspective, just from your perspective. You probably killed a bunch of people normally, but for them, it was instant.

People that rely on sbmm need to suck it up and get better or just don't play fps games 🤷🏻♂️. Im gen Z and when I started playing battlefield I was horrible back in 2014. My hope is that the pressure that Delta Force is putting on will cause a very good BF to come. because I still prefer the fluidity of BF compared to the gameplay of delta force
i get killed through walls so often depite having solid 30 ping, i think the netcode is off in this game. but i never experienced inconsistent weapons evidently
I have 30% wr in this game. I love the gunplay and overall feeling but i'm always matched against extremely good players and it's getting exhausting. More than half of my games i'm absolutely getting destroy, i can't even move. When you have unbalanced lobbies like that, one of the team is gonna play toward cheese, holding angle, prone gaming and it's so bad.
I really like and want to like the game, however i swear after i got 5k kills games are impossible to enjoy due to sbmm.. im so disappointed, its not fair, nor fun for ANYONE..
I agree, my team gets all the bots and opponents getting all the pro shroud like players or hacker-like players finishing an A/D in 12 minutes. FFS. I hit marshal and my team is getting absolute garbage all the games, where the opponents are always OP!! How is this even possible.
Past 2 days I’ve been doing really well and been having a lot of fun but yes sometimes I have had these issues before. I think I’ve seen myself getting random 1 frame kills across the map with an m4a1, but they could’ve just been low so idk
The lag is so bad. Getting in the game for me is always hard. In king of the hill I get in when about both teams are like in 200+ and the rendering becomes normal about 400-500. I do have great internet at about 300-400 mpbs and my computer and drivers are up to date.
in fact it's true there is no bracket, I usually played at garena version and recently installed the steam version just for the curiosity of the net/ping diffenrence, lvl 1 account in unranked game 1st match i'm already facing some marshall and CI-19 user that means like lvl 40-ish account that's not a new experience bracket. I don't think my progression at garena matters since it's a different server after all but who knows
Ive played nearly 100 hours since launch and something defo feels off. I played 3 matches today and switched games as i was pinged non stop all 3 games by luna, each week i feel like more and more people start using her and it's getting insufferable.
I went into a public squad and i think i was queued with a guy from india(i had really bad connection to the server) and had the best matches ever going over 110 kills(and top of the team) which for me, is insane normally i wont get past 60-80 when solo queuing. As normally i have really good internet i cant tell if it was my bad internet that was helping me, but also it felt like there was bots as there was large groups of players that looked straight out of the A/D drills. I seem to get killed instantly but i dont think it has any connection to the team performance, though now that you mention it it does seem weird.
we have similar feelings. The game is not very pleasant because of sbmm but death from 2 bullets from a distance is a bit too much. Generally we left coda for manipulation in the games and the same awaits delta. We will leave because we do not accept manipulation in the games, cheaters, sbmm. probably most of us will return to BF1 or 5
the sbmm is brutal even forced 50% winrate on players. imagine getting 3 win streaks then getting dumped into a lobby full with new players and bots against 2-3 squad of sweaty players. game ended in 10 minutes😂
I'm gonna be honest, I have experienced a completely different game than you and most of the players you're referring to. Let me first say that I play in Western Europe, so I can only speak about those servers. SBMM (Skill-Based Matchmaking): In my 70 hours of playtime, I haven’t once thought about SBMM being an issue. I can’t see why you would say that, other than it being a trending topic on social media. Basically, all games differentiate between new and experienced players; this is important. Even games like PUBG implement this, where you play against bots in your first few matches before being placed in the normal player pool. You’ve shown no evidence other than your "experience." In all the time I've played, I’ve had a maximum queue time of 10 seconds for a game-maybe 20-30 seconds sometimes, but very rarely. If you look at the scoreboard at the end of the game, I can’t imagine how you’d think SBMM exists. There are clearly three to four brackets of players: very bad, bad, somewhat good, and very good. You can also observe this when looking at scores, K/D ratios, or just kills. For example, in Call of Duty (COD), lobbies look completely different in terms of player skill. That’s not the case here. Hit registration and similar issues: Honestly, this hasn’t really bothered me much. Sure, sometimes I miss, but that can simply be due to horizontal recoil. The only thing I find weird is that sometimes you die in like 0.1 seconds and can’t even react. However, when I kill someone, it usually takes about the same amount of time. So, for me, it balances out. Turning points and team performance swings: You mentioned that teams sometimes seem to make a 180-degree turn and suddenly perform really well or really poorly. I think that’s normal, and I’ve experienced the same in Battlefield. This is most likely due to map design. For example, if you’re a defender and need to hold three paths, as long as players stay alive in each path, attackers can’t do anything. However, if one path falls, you suddenly get flanked and lose. This seems more psychological to me. Players rotate away if they don’t see someone to shoot at, leaving important positions undefended. This can cause a chain reaction, where you lose a critical path and the attackers overwhelm you. For me, this is tied to map design. Conclusion: My game experience seems very different from yours. If you’re going to make videos criticizing the game, you should provide actual proof rather than just making claims. The more you play the game, the more it devolved into an unfun experience. The insane amount of headglitches compiled with the weird TTK just creates extremely frustrating, boring, and tedious games. Then you have SBMM on top of all that? Not fun.
There is noob lobies?? I though it was normal to get evaporated by ci-19 in couple of milliseconds. But honestly it's alright because you can do the same, just aim for the head. From the beginning I was in sweat lobbies, I'm sweaty boy myself, so my experience was pretty accurate, plus when game expand matchmaking settings it's obviously putting bigger variety of players in match. Flipped games is normal, map design make it so, for example on mines it's almost imposible to push last sector, because it's work like metro in bf, 3 or 4 corridors that always blocked, if you can't bruteforce it you cannot win.
100% lying about SBMM at the very least. There is no doubt in my mind. But tbh, I don't care anymore. The game is going to look like Fortnite soon enough with the kind of cosmetics they want to push so I'm out anyway.

EU server, 66 hours, 50lvl, colonel 4, usually in top 5 of my team, play ranked/enranked ~50/50. Tbh compared to BO6 i don't feel SBMM at all. In 9\10 battles both teams have 1\3 good players, 1\3 not that good, and 1\3 really bad players or noobs. And only in 1\10 games one team is much stronger than the other and game ends 2x time faster.

When you don't feel like sweating, play PVE, winning against noobs means nothing. I play zombies when I want to relax and take a break from focusing and tension. The sync issues you are facing is bad news, I thought I'd wait to see how the game performs before getting a new device, but if it's gonna be another cod, then, I'm good without it.

the 2 brackets for new players and older account players is definitely a lie. I made a new account on garena (playing on steam before) just to get the K416 Competition skin and I was against a team of players with Battle Field Commander title (Marshall rank). Is this beginner friendly? No.
theres something wrong with matchmaking ,my level colonel 1 and always get a bad team , Out of 10 matches, i only won 2 times and its really terrible very unbalanced its like my team is 60% bots

Bro, wanna hear a sad truth? I can see your ping is mostly below 30ms. From BD, the best ping we get is at least 68ms. Imagine our frustration in close quarters
there is no SBMM in this game, im constantly top leadearboard either with points or kills and since beggining im getting guys into squad (not team) who r completly new to the game, they dont know the map, they not aware that they can revive etc etc. ALso It easy to see that, in terms of how team attack or how team defend. I dont remember when was last time where my squad had atleast the same amount of kills togheter i have. ANd i will tell u how it works and why games feel differently and my statement is that we accualy need SBMM. So lets say team A and team B have 1000 mmr per team, now lets asume u team up with 3 pll and ur squad has 500 mmr, then u can have another 2 ppl in team with 100 mmr per person and thats 700 mmr already. Lets asume teams have 30 ppl so rest of ur team is filled with ppl with around 13 mmr per person. Now where is the problem ? the problem is that team B can be filled differently, lets say 10 ppl with 2 mmr per person but rest of their team will be more balanced in terms of mmr. Thats causes imbalance, because in game like that its better to have 25 decent players and 5 bad then to have 5 very good 2 good and 23 very bad. And u can tell that only by watching leaderboard, if there would be SBMM, a proper one, leaderboards would be more "flat" and games would accualy be less sweaty - why ? because ppl in your team would carry from time to time and with proper teammates u would sweat less, u would not be top leaderboard every game - because teams would be based - on skill. In terms. Back to the "turnarounds" - its true, some bad players may leave and system fill with whoever is "free" but also its matter of what i already said. Lets say u have those 5 very good players 5 good and 20 very bad players in team - it will be easier for u to defend with that team rather then attack some points same goes with attack, some points r fairy easy to take but some need some basic skills.

Most of the player base they dont pay attention of what you are talking about at the video or at other videos, they dont have the appropriate experience to judge those problems or to realize they exist. I personally have experience both of them, other problems that you talking at your previous videos too! The 2nd one is very big and it is happening more often. There are things that they have to fix but they dont listening or they dont want to fix those things which is something I dont understand. Map rotation problem, there must be only 1 bucket with players and the only thing that must be take in to account is the regions and the ping, no sbmm or whatever algorithms, the following is a problem that nobody is talking about, deploy points are always the same, some players now exactly where they are, you deploy and get instantly killed by them, there are videos about it, this must be fixed immediately, some players movement is at question, are they bots? Either the game is casual or its not, they have to understand that those things are destroying the experience. There is no logic behind their algorithms at all! What they wanted to achieve with their algorithms has worked or its is working exactly the opposite. Sadly, it is NOT about if the game is good. It is about how much money you can make. There were no cosmetics in BF3/BF4, so they could focus on a good game that sells well. And they made money just by game sales alone. As soon as there are cosmetics (required for a F2P title), they have to focus on ways to sell them. BF5 had cosmetics and I guess they did not sell too good. Most likely this was the reason for the abomination we got with BF2042 with those stupid 'specialists'. Let's hope for BF next to not have cosmetics and they can finally focus on a game with such amazing gameplay that they can sell MANY copies of the game just because of that. Benefits all players and should satisfy even EA.

You’re playing well, your team is doing great, and then suddenly, you start getting killed frequently, and your team begins losing - This happens way too often for my taste. As for those instant deaths, I initially blamed high ping, but there might be more to it than that.
It's because people quit the match and better players join.
The only thing that feel like it's being manipulated are the tickets, sometimes your team has been holding 4 flags for 70% of the match, yet the enemy team is close on points, doesn't make much sense.

It is a very similar feeling to the BF V release and connected netcode issues and the server ping/desync. I agree, especially in the breakthrough mode during player peaks, I have a lot of games with 1-2 objective captures and high kills, good progression. And then all of a sudden it feels like everyone is shooting like they own an RGB gaming chair and have godlike aim and the game turns on you.

I will be slaying out so hard on A and B sectors and be top 5 on scoreboard and then when we start taking C I all of the sudden am getting shit on by the same guys I was just dropping easily earlier. The same guys? I doubt, in my experience, people quit half way and some better guys join in their place, that's why the game turns around.
I've experienced the opposite, where the match became easier, and from my perspective i was clearly facing less skilled people, as everything they did was dumber, there was no TTK help or anything like that, if your entire movement and actions could be manipulated, we would have noticed right away.

EOMM, engagement optimized matchmaking. They will deliberately put you in easy games then hard ones so you WANT to keep playing to try getting back those easy games. They aren't lying about SBMM because its actually EOMM

Oh and as long as you keep playing the game, talking about it, nothing's going to change. You are now locked in the same cod loop. However, it's likely DF will go down by the time next BF drops. Aimbot definitely not, but he might be using something to reduce the amount of recoil he has (not 100% sure as I know there's lots of attachments and the calibration setting too, which I'm not familiar with) but he literally has 0 recoil, I've used a fair few guns and experimented with a few attachments and I cannot remove the recoil fully, I'm always having horizontal recoil which throws me off, now I know all you have to do, is either pull straight down or pull down to the left or right depending on the recoil spread, but from all the clips I've seen, he does have 0 recoil, im not accusing him of using some software to remove recoil, but it's definitely a little suspicious.

@@Maxiq we are an old gaming clan, focusing mostly on Battlefield. We are around since BF1942, while most of the players currently playing joined around the time of BFBC2 or BF Vietnam. Given how bad the current BF is we were looking for something else, but if you can't play with your friends, then we are out. With BF2042 you already have to put in some work to join together. In the past we run our own servers where we had our VIP slots, we had a balancer, map vote and all that. The last time we could do that was BF4. I doubt this will even come back again.

Max there are AI bots in the game like in Cod!! They say they removed bots but they lying!! Thats why suddenly your match switch and it looks that everybody is suddenly good or bad!! I saw a video where they explained that they made the bots look like humans, so why all the effort looking these bots like humans and than say oooh there gone because you guys want too! The AI bots are a piece off the match making system!!
When you play BF or Insurgency Sandstorm, it is OBVIOUS that there is a broad spectrum of players on each team. Rounds are random. When you play this game, it is OBVIOUS that everyone is twitchy pro. There is simply no way this is a protected bracket and then everyone else. They are lying. It can't all be de-sync. The people I am playing against never miss. They is no spray, no panic, no delay dealing with threats, no indicators at all that you see from DECADES of playing BF games.

Great video Max. I'm experiencing the same. More sweaty games when more people play, and in A/D suddenly I have no hit reg anymore. Plus, when I had a good game I tend to end up on servers with higher ping in the next match. And on these servers I also constantly die in one frame, but need a whole mag to kill someone. Feels like a punishment.
There is absolutely no way there are only 2 bracketts. The more I've played, the sweatier my lobbies have become. I've honestly gotten to the point Ive sworn off Operations and I'm not playing as much Warfare as I would otherwise. Honestly I'm starting think that the game will always be frustrating every time I play it. I'm already thinking about quitting. It is not fun playing in bascially the same lobby every single match with the same KD ratio and a 50% win rate.

As for the sudden game pace shifts, I noticed it's related to team spawns. It happens very abruptly, suddenly the defenders start spawning from further away, while attackers get more advanced spawns. If the defenders do not have a spawn beacon around that time, most people will not be revived and it throws games HARD. I make sure to keep that 8k squad points available when I'm defending and try to notice the moment the spawns shift. It has won me numerous games, no joke.
The only thing that doesnt make alot of sense to me is that i end up in the same lobby as the same players fairly consistently, if it were only 2 brackets wouldn't this not be happening in a game with like 80000 players. I am still enjoying my games for the most part though everyfew games i get thrown into a completely imbalanced lobby, which might actually stand for the two bracket system, maybe im doing well for a few matches and then it puts me into the good player matches and i start to get rolled lol but id like to think its not that lol
u should understand every region have different server not all 80k player in same server lol , im from asean i never meet player from europe or usa . its always like that in every game i play , for example rainbow six , overwatch i only meet asean player , and sometime face same player again too
@@freshmaker6441 I guess i would still assume more than enough people in one region (particularly NA) to fill up a wide array of servers across two brackets. Though i wouldn't be surprised if NA has a very low player base because of xenophobia, that is a good point though, i have no idea how many people are in my region. My ping is super inconsistent which also leads me to believe that i am not too region locked, i don't typically have ping above 100-120 ms in NA servers. I also play with players internationally sometimes so that might have its own community as well
You're pretty spot on with these topics. I wonder if their servers just can't handle the load of 64 fighters and it starts dragging players by whatever algorithm they have in place. Something like trying to force level ping rate, which is why I quit playing COD when I found out that they do that. I'm at a low-mid range skill level, but even I can see this at times. I'd be on the side that's losing and all the sudden we're winning and I'm like scratching my head thinking HTF did that happen. Did all those sweaty mofos just quit the match, or did we just all the sudden get better players?
And the 2-tap thing is exactly the crap I was dealing with in COD. Thought it was ping issue to find out they were throttling on the server side. So frustrating.
Now that you mentioned it, almost everyone during Christmas is playing and that made the lobby a lot sweatier.
My K/D per match is more like 1.2 rather than my actual K/D which is 1.4. And when the Christmas day passed everything seems to be more laxed specifically in KoH.

I've been thinging the samething. Earlier in the day, I feel like I can chill and have fun, and more people are playing the objective and reviving. More players come online, nobody is even near the objective, no one revives, and everyone running around like COD. Also feel like there is no way there isn't still bots, because there are something that people can't be so oblivious unless they are bots. And 100% noticing that too only certian players, no matter what operator they are I get 300+ xp for damaging them, and they'll turn around and two shot me often with the same gun.

Don't know if they're straight up lying but smth is off. Had the complete opposite experience, pretty chill games on the weekend, consistent 40-60 Kill Games without extreme sweat. For sure some Christmas-Gamers but had to work for the top and it felt rewarding. Today only got matched into half done games, extremly one sided and struggled to get even 20 kills

I have experienced the instant switch mid match, Kinda like rubber banding in racing games. Been playing since day 1 and It's been consistent as far as how games flow until the last 2 days. All of a sudden the flow will switch almost like it keeping one side from steam rolling the other.
Ive played 3 days now, same 2 maps really annoying me now.
i have definitely been feeling the 1 frame deaths. as a recon at a medium to long range engagements 90% of the time getting hit by 3 bullets or sometimes even 2 bullets from an smg and i die was getting annoying to a point where i wont even respawn and just leave my computer.

Map design definitely impacts a teams performance. But I have had games where all the good players are on one side and still get crushed out of nowhere.

The merit system needs to be looked at you can be doing all your class objectives and capturing objectives if you are not getting kills but at completely contributing respawns rezzes what not you can get a neg merit which just feel bad
I have like 2 levels to get marshall, my average game is 85 kills and I use double Xp cards and double merit cards , the thing that sometimes I dont feel like I need to shoot 85 people to win I contribute a lot for the whole team to win, I hit like 29 kills but at the same without me the team loses everything intresting point you are talking about it feels like you are unappreciated.
They're not lying it's not SBMM. It's EOMM, Engagement Optimized matchmaking. Basically they'll throw you into easy games then hard ones so you would want to play again just to get back that feeling in the easy games. That's why you go 29/7 then 19/14 and immediately wanna jump back in to try going 29/7 again
regarding the situations when the match changes tides in warefare, there could be many situations:
-Bots and people replacing them could have an effect: Its well known that the game has bots. Movement, shooting, etc, is umbelievable that a 90yr old or a toddler could play like that. I've joined games that have already started; so there is a chance I replaced a bot. So, real players joining a game could affect the outcome: if the bots are bad, if 5 or 10 good (relative to the lobby) players join, they could change the tides. If the bots "are doing ok" at holding, but 5, 10 very aggresive (but not so good) players join, this could change the game.
-Also building onto the effect of players joining into already started games, this could be replacing previous real players, and in theory having the possible 2 outcomes.
-another point is both vehicle and stri,e usage. I´ve seen teams spam vehicles and them getting wrecked to very good engineers, and also ive seen 1 tank mow down a team because no one bothered to change kit to engineer. To this, add the usage of artillery and guided missles, and the tactical usage of respawn beacons (both having designated marksmans per squad or someone using the team wide).
I believe that in a ways, aside from all other issues that of course are not minor, a match changing tides could be more a syntom of unskilled / skilled teams. (maybe game balance tho, Im not an expert); but I'd like to believe that if we have a lot of noobs, this means a lot of people could get interested in warfare like games. This and delta force getting traction since its free, could put pressure into other IP´s (ehem, battlefield) that have kinda been sleeping

legit all that keeps happening to me is that.. 1 shot death and they soak up 60 or so rounds first showing all hitmarkers.. too many built in wall hacks and also the cheaters are sickening.. that type ofdamn anti cheat we have to use and it doesnt even fucking make a lick of difference.
Over 180 hours in warzone game mode. Match making is perfect the way it is. I don't think there is a match making. I think it just throws in anybody who's in the queue. But I have seem the same person in a few of my matches, so it's possible. But for the most part skill is vastly different between players on every match. I like it that way. I hope it never changes. Some days it's nice to carry, other days it's nice to be carried. Some days, you just get curbed stomped and it's ok, it keeps the game fresh.

Regarding that complete 180 turn around, it's because a lot of people are sore loosers. The match starts going poorly so they quit the game. Then people like me get thrown into the losing team from mid game. Basically average to better than average players are thrown into the now empty team to even it out. Suddenly an infux of players who don't suck, just replaced people who didn't want to put in any effort into that match. Happens A LOT. I don't care, I'll stick through the end to any match. Even if I get put in one of those matches half way through and we're getting pounded. Getting killed is the fastest way to make you better.
I don't feel that the game has any complex sbmm, but I think that possibly the idea that there are two groups, the new ones and the experienced ones, is not entirely true and that they just tried to simplify things so that their words would not be misinterpreted. If you have noticed an increase in try hard players, it is entirely possible that more players who are very skilled, returned to the game or have recently tried it, the ratio of "good" and "bad" players does not have to be 50/50 In fact, it is likely that no game has a ratio of skilled players to low-skilled players that is this balanced.
Finally, I have also noticed that on some occasions the course of the game changes abruptly, but I have to say that I have noticed very varied games in general, games where my team crushes the rival team, rivals that crush my team, and Quite balanced games.
I personally after 30 hours of gameplay, me and most of my friends stopped playing the game, every single match its a sweat fest, dying from anywhere in the map, peeking from a cover insta headshot, its not fun and there is no damn way its only "beginner and everyone else" pool, i moved to marvel rivals with my friends instead, at least there i can quick play and and get a random result each time i match, just like EVERY DAMN BATTLEFIELD was, so yea.
This is why we need server browsers, no iffs buts or maybes around it, these games really only should function on browsers. Even 2042 had very very light SBMM as far as an EA comm manager saying so, but it wasn't egregious or really noticeable at all tbh. This has been pretty bad, though i've barely played the past week, kinda burnt out on the game already, 5 maps on launch just isn't enough and if we are getting 1 map per content drop like 2042, it's gonna be very boring very fast.
Some times playes join so late in in the game. It happens to me many times. I join at the last 10 mins of a game . I guess thats why the game might change or feels harder over time
I’ve noticed on defense when you get the attacking team below 100 resources when you die then spawn back in on an objective you start spawning farther away
You might be getting confused how u spawn far away when the point is being infiltrated or ur right, I never noticed tbh

I think any SBMM in this kind of game is absurd...it's participation-trophy generation BS. And, I'm more and more in games where the winning team suddenly starts getting their ass kicked - instant deaths, flags changing in the time it takes to respawn...complete BS and happens frequently -- they can't convince me there's nothing to it, they are "gaming the system".
They're creating a dishonest system in gaming's version of "equity". It'll turn into a big pile of steaming crap if they keep this up. And, its just dumb...the early enthusiasm was for something other than that BS we get with Battlefield (and the whole pile of other crud that comes with COD).
None of that is real, it's just whining really, one frame deaths is just a server delay, you didn't die instantly from the enemy perspective, just from your perspective. You probably killed a bunch of people normally, but for them, it was instant.

i get killed through walls so often depite having solid 30 ping, i think the netcode is off in this game. but i never experienced inconsistent weapons evidently

I have 30% wr in this game. I love the gunplay and overall feeling but i'm always matched against extremely good players and it's getting exhausting. More than half of my games i'm absolutely getting destroy, i can't even move. When you have unbalanced lobbies like that, one of the team is gonna play toward cheese, holding angle, prone gaming and it's so bad.
I really like and want to like the game, however i swear after i got 5k kills games are impossible to enjoy due to sbmm.. im so disappointed, its not fair, nor fun for ANYONE..
I have been in a lot of games where we won with nobody getting past the first sector and in king of the hill with all obj capped.
I agree, my team gets all the bots and opponents getting all the pro shroud like players or hacker-like players finishing an A/D in 12 minutes. FFS. I hit marshal and my team is getting absolute garbage all the games, where the opponents are always OP!! How is this even possible.

Past 2 days I’ve been doing really well and been having a lot of fun but yes sometimes I have had these issues before. I think I’ve seen myself getting random 1 frame kills across the map with an m4a1, but they could’ve just been low so idk
SBMM is killing ‘Casual’ shooters I don’t wanna come home from work to game for a few hours to sweat my arse off leave that stuff to ranked play.
The lag is so bad. Getting in the game for me is always hard. In king of the hill I get in when about both teams are like in 200+ and the rendering becomes normal about 400-500. I do have great internet at about 300-400 mpbs and my computer and drivers are up to date.

in fact it's true there is no bracket, I usually played at garena version and recently installed the steam version just for the curiosity of the net/ping diffenrence, lvl 1 account in unranked game 1st match i'm already facing some marshall and CI-19 user that means like lvl 40-ish account that's not a new experience bracket. I don't think my progression at garena matters since it's a different server after all but who knows
Ive played nearly 100 hours since launch and something defo feels off. I played 3 matches today and switched games as i was pinged non stop all 3 games by luna, each week i feel like more and more people start using her and it's getting insufferable.
Yeah I didn't talk about Luna but she definitely needs to get nerfed. preferably removed but that probably won't happen
I went into a public squad and i think i was queued with a guy from india(i had really bad connection to the server) and had the best matches ever going over 110 kills(and top of the team) which for me, is insane normally i wont get past 60-80 when solo queuing. As normally i have really good internet i cant tell if it was my bad internet that was helping me, but also it felt like there was bots as there was large groups of players that looked straight out of the A/D drills. I seem to get killed instantly but i dont think it has any connection to the team performance, though now that you mention it it does seem weird.
we have similar feelings. The game is not very pleasant because of sbmm but death from 2 bullets from a distance is a bit too much. Generally we left coda for manipulation in the games and the same awaits delta. We will leave because we do not accept manipulation in the games, cheaters, sbmm. probably most of us will return to BF1 or 5
the sbmm is brutal even forced 50% winrate on players. imagine getting 3 win streaks then getting dumped into a lobby full with new players and bots against 2-3 squad of sweaty players. game ended in 10 minutes😂
I'm gonna be honest, I have experienced a completely different game than you and most of the players you're referring to. Let me first say that I play in Western Europe, so I can only speak about those servers.
SBMM (Skill-Based Matchmaking):
In my 70 hours of playtime, I haven’t once thought about SBMM being an issue. I can’t see why you would say that, other than it being a trending topic on social media. Basically, all games differentiate between new and experienced players; this is important. Even games like PUBG implement this, where you play against bots in your first few matches before being placed in the normal player pool.
You’ve shown no evidence other than your "experience." In all the time I've played, I’ve had a maximum queue time of 10 seconds for a game-maybe 20-30 seconds sometimes, but very rarely. If you look at the scoreboard at the end of the game, I can’t imagine how you’d think SBMM exists. There are clearly three to four brackets of players: very bad, bad, somewhat good, and very good. You can also observe this when looking at scores, K/D ratios, or just kills.
For example, in Call of Duty (COD), lobbies look completely different in terms of player skill. That’s not the case here.
Hit registration and similar issues:
Honestly, this hasn’t really bothered me much. Sure, sometimes I miss, but that can simply be due to horizontal recoil. The only thing I find weird is that sometimes you die in like 0.1 seconds and can’t even react. However, when I kill someone, it usually takes about the same amount of time. So, for me, it balances out.
Turning points and team performance swings:
You mentioned that teams sometimes seem to make a 180-degree turn and suddenly perform really well or really poorly. I think that’s normal, and I’ve experienced the same in Battlefield. This is most likely due to map design. For example, if you’re a defender and need to hold three paths, as long as players stay alive in each path, attackers can’t do anything. However, if one path falls, you suddenly get flanked and lose.
This seems more psychological to me. Players rotate away if they don’t see someone to shoot at, leaving important positions undefended. This can cause a chain reaction, where you lose a critical path and the attackers overwhelm you. For me, this is tied to map design.
Conclusion:
My game experience seems very different from yours. If you’re going to make videos criticizing the game, you should provide actual proof rather than just making claims. For example, show us the scoreboard if you think SBMM is a problem, or share gameplay footage to demonstrate how matches evolve.
Eventually, the game’s player base will suffer if people believe unproven opinions and biases. Players will say the game is bad without having evidence. If you want to improve the game and help make it better, don’t just speculate-bring data to back up your points.
i have a decent ping at 30ms but it alwayd says bad connection(playing in ph). sometimes people stutter across the screen and are impossible to hit.
The more you play the game, the more it devolved into an unfun experience. The insane amount of headglitches compiled with the weird TTK just creates extremely frustrating, boring, and tedious games. Then you have SBMM on top of all that?

There is noob lobies?? I though it was normal to get evaporated by ci-19 in couple of milliseconds. But honestly it's alright because you can do the same, just aim for the head. From the beginning I was in sweat lobbies, I'm sweaty boy myself, so my experience was pretty accurate, plus when game expand matchmaking settings it's obviously putting bigger variety of players in match. Flipped games is normal, map design make it so, for example on mines it's almost imposible to push last sector, because it's work like metro in bf, 3 or 4 corridors that always blocked, if you can't bruteforce it you cannot win.
100% lying about SBMM at the very least. There is no doubt in my mind.
But tbh, I don't care anymore. The game is going to look like Fortnite soon enough with the kind of cosmetics they want to push so I'm out anyway.

EU server, 66 hours, 50lvl, colonel 4, usually in top 5 of my team, play ranked/enranked ~50/50. Tbh compared to BO6 i don't feel SBMM at all. In 9\10 battles both teams have 1\3 good players, 1\3 not that good, and 1\3 really bad players or noobs. And only in 1\10 games one team is much stronger than the other and game ends 2x time faster.
Yes, I second both of your points, Maxiq! DF makes no real fun anymore! Lobbies arnt fun anymore and yes, sometimes GAMES switch in the middle all of a sudden!

the 2 brackets for new players and older account players is definitely a lie. I made a new account on garena (playing on steam before) just to get the K416 Competition skin and I was against a team of players with Battle Field Commander title (Marshall rank). Is this beginner friendly? No.
theres something wrong with matchmaking ,my level colonel 1 and always get a bad team , Out of 10 matches, i only won 2 times and its really terrible very unbalanced its like my team is 60% bots

At 1:45 to 1:48 into the video he clearly is cheating he jumps to the next room and already knows exactly where the enemy is pinpoint no adjustment on shot even with a team mate pre shooting how does he know exactly that side of the wall the enemy is shooting from.
He parachuted into enemy territory lol, and they pinged on the minimap, kinda easy to predict enemies would be there... Simple FPS knowledge and tactics my guy

Bro, wanna hear a sad truth? I can see your ping is mostly below 30ms. From BD, the best ping we get is at least 68ms. Imagine our frustration in close quarters
there is no SBMM in this game, im constantly top leadearboard either with points or kills and since beggining im getting guys into squad (not team) who r completly new to the game, they dont know the map, they not aware that they can revive etc etc. ALso It easy to see that, in terms of how team attack or how team defend. I dont remember when was last time where my squad had atleast the same amount of kills togheter i have. ANd i will tell u how it works and why games feel differently and my statement is that we accualy need SBMM. So lets say team A and team B have 1000 mmr per team, now lets asume u team up with 3 pll and ur squad has 500 mmr, then u can have another 2 ppl in team with 100 mmr per person and thats 700 mmr already. Lets asume teams have 30 ppl so rest of ur team is filled with ppl with around 13 mmr per person. Now where is the problem ? the problem is that team B can be filled differently, lets say 10 ppl with 2 mmr per person but rest of their team will be more balanced in terms of mmr. Thats causes imbalance, because in game like that its better to have 25 decent players and 5 bad then to have 5 very good 2 good and 23 very bad. And u can tell that only by watching leaderboard, if there would be SBMM, a proper one, leaderboards would be more "flat" and games would accualy be less sweaty - why ? because ppl in your team would carry from time to time and with proper teammates u would sweat less, u would not be top leaderboard every game - because teams would be based - on skill. In terms. Back to the "turnarounds" - its true, some bad players may leave and system fill with whoever is "free" but also its matter of what i already said. Lets say u have those 5 very good players 5 good and 20 very bad players in team - it will be easier for u to defend with that team rather then attack some points same goes with attack, some points r fairy easy to take but some need some basic skills.

Most of the player base they dont pay attention of what you are talking about at the video or at other videos, they dont have the appropriate experience to judge those problems or to realize they exist.
I personally have experience both of them, other problems that you talking at your previous videos too! The 2nd one is very big and it is happening more often.
There are things that they have to fix but they dont listening or they dont want to fix those things which is something I dont understand.
Map rotation problem,
there must be only 1 bucket with players and the only thing that must be take in to account is the regions and the ping, no sbmm or whatever algorithms,
the following is a problem that nobody is talking about, deploy points are always the same, some players now exactly where they are, you deploy and get instantly killed by them, there are videos about it, this must be fixed immediately,
some players movement is at question, are they bots?
Either the game is casual or its not, they have to understand that those things are destroying the experience.
There is no logic behind their algorithms at all!
What they wanted to achieve with their algorithms has worked or its is working exactly the opposite.
