I have tryed a few different cover crops this season instead of using cardboard on every bed, the winter tares and green beans are doing well the white clover is more of a summer cover so will try and soepw it earlier next season. Lovely update Jules. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
It looks beautiful out there interested about the insects too. Always good to grow insect attracting plants, never heard of this one. And yes, you need something to eat in winter too. ❤ Great turnip greens
@@JulesGardening The cover crop mix includes four types of clover, two types of vetch, flax, fenugreek, forage peas, buckwheat, cowpeas, millet, and lentils. I got it on Amazon and it's from a company called No-Till Solutions.
Looks great, Jules. We had no garden this year because of the constant rain. But we did have some wild stuff grow (don't know what it is). I left it for the winter. Not sure if it was the right thing to do. We'll see!

Thanks Terry. I might try some winter peas in a few months as an experiment, too. Just to observe. I have a few spots left to try that out.

I just got through ordering a cover crop mixture the other day. I won't plant it until late March or early April.
Awesome! What are your growing?
