    • @JulesGardening
      @JulesGardening Месяц назад

      @@countrychickbrews4640 well. Parsley is biennial. You wait until the second year. Take the seed to then save. And use root as a spice if you want it. Cutting celery is also biennial. A little more bitter in year two but can still get the seed to use again.

    Hi old friend! Hope all is well. It has been a very hectic year. Your garden looks great. It has been a bumper crop for peppers here. Hope yours did well. I hear you about storms lol! Lost one of two small walk-in greenhouses this summer. They were in four feet of each other. The one that was destroyed had all my starters in it. Only saved two tomatoes and five pepper plants. So, off the the nursery we went! The one not ruined was empty. Go figure lol. A lot of rain here in Northern NY. High temps too. You all take care!

    Well, I moved my garden, then injured my back. I had to step back quite a bit, trying to let it heal. The chiropractor is my best friend right now, and I visit him 2X per week. Anyway. I did what I could. I got my pepper transplants planted in my new raised beds on July 30. Waaaay late. But it is all an experiment, right? We will see how everything transpires. I love watching the chickens clean up the garden beds! Fascinating creatures!
