This is one of those songs you heard growing up as a teenager (1970s Chicago) on the FM dial that didn't get much air time but because it was "catchy" you always seemed to remember it....and yet thanx to modern technology 40yrs later you can hear it anytime you want....life huh?

Keep On Smiling... That's really the only Wet Willie song that got Airplay up here in Michigan. I've got their Greatest Hits and Manorisms on vinyl. Love the band though never had a chance to see em. Clear your head and enjoy your mental health day (I take them too) and Keep On Smiling and Remember.... Grits Ain't Groceries, Eggs Ain't Poultry and Mona Lisa Was A Man.... !!!!! Always loved this song Grits Ain't Groceries. And of course there are those who think the Mona Lisa Was A self portrait. Could be....
      Be well brother

Someone please help me remember! It was around 74ish I was with some friends on Dolphin Island ( I think ) and some bands were playing some doing covers and what not then a band came out and got my attention straight away with horns and the lead Man played a harmonica as well as other instruments through the show. Needless to say I just partied harder but I could almost swear I heard this song and one called Keep on Smiling as well as something about Grits. Was that them? What year was it? Or was I on a beach somewhere else close to the Island? I've gotten to old to remember, Please help!
