I noticed that there’s no Blumhouse house on this map, but rather the scare zone instead. That’s really interesting to me. Honestly, I think M3GAN is going to be scarier as a zone instead of a house, anyway.
I can confirm that there is absolutely an oddities theme this year. A few months back myself and a few other Florida oddities artists and vendors were contacted for pieces to use as set props for the national tv ad. I know for certain that multiple skulls, creepy dolls, framed insects, etc were used on set. Do with this what you will.
I don't think the dragon house will be specifically a reference to Dueling Dragons... I feel like it's more likely to be a Scary-Tales-esque take on the Arthur legend, like if Morgan le Fay won over Merlin and killed Arthur... something like that. Ill be curious to see.
Can you confirm or deny? That there is a law in Florida that says. That you can't have tents to be used as a business. If the HHN House's are not in a Studios it's considered a tent. This goes for food and beverage tents. It all stems from SeaWorld. They had a tents cooking food and a small fire started. And the fire department couldn't get to it because it was blocked by another tent. That's why you can only buy tickets for HHN Hollywood. Because this law in not in California. Let this set in. This will affect Mardi Cras as well. HHN tickets rumors to be on sale on Groupon. Each structure needs a permit. Each permit is $5,000.
Dueling Dragons was a great ride with a fantastic queue. You'd walk into a castle and choose a side. One side was fire, the other was ice and we'd see how the dragons killed all the nights on each elemental side. (Like a knight on a horse frozen in mid air, I think a few may have been cooked, but that would have been too greusome for the ride. Every "body" was clothed in full armor with no human bits sticking out) So yeah, boost up the horror a smidge and you've got a good house premise.
Here’s my own take on the rumored Jungle Zone: It’s an easy guess, but what if it has the Scary Tales vibes inspired by the Jungle Book with a Hindu lore spin that sounds like a very Orlando thing to do? There’s a lot of potential you could do with it. I don’t think this would work with puppets, meaning we would see humanized versions of the animals played by scareactors. I can picture Mowgli wearing a hooded cloak Tiger pelt of Shere Khan other than a traditional Indian loincloth called a langot with certain kind a sword in hand called a khanda; Kaa as a female naga or a serpentine figure in a midriff sari for a femme fatale scare and a sinuous form other than captiving guests with a hypnotic style acting; Baloo wearing a mukut crown as a reference to a humanoid bear from the Hindu lore named Jambavan who is the King of Bears; a humanoid Bagheera with a tilak mark on his forehead and red spots as a reflection to a Hindu deity named Durga the goddess strength and protection who is associated with panthers; a humanoid Hathi with three heads as a reference to both an elephant type of deity named Ganesha the god of destruction and Airavata; and the Bandar-Log pack as the Varana monkeys who are known to be mischievous in the myths. As for the wolf pack, there are werewolves from the myths (sorta), but they’re known to be guardian-warriors.

Also, I’m very much looking forward to taking a break with a Starbucks drink near the zodiac scare zone so I can people watch. It’s highly entertaining to see people’s reactions to the scare actors.
Kind of sad that Demon Slayer is now gone, especially if they are bringing a Japan Scare Zone with the Zodiac stuff. Though maybe that'll be a proof of concept for next year....
Map is accurate. Also the hordes are just random hordes not a scarezone. No scarezone In the illumination minions zone. 4 zones this year with hordes. Also the death eaters will most likely be outside of diagon alley in the London area not inside diagon alley itself
Hordes (in HHN terms) usually classifies a group of scareactors that roam the streets rather than staying in one designated zone. Don’t know if thats the same case here, but we’ll see!
