    Only some few or only one big company could afford this!
    I think, the fastest way is to talk to big company/other rich people and to show them how important such projects are - even for their own survive on zhis planet.
    Many many lightworkers prepare since years this lightful message and in the end the big ones make it for a fast transfer.
    For EVERY problem on earth there is already!! the solution! Free energy machines, possibilities to transform radio energy, watre cleaning, enough food and water for all.... its "only" a thing of changing the conciousness.

GENIAL!

    Industrials & Manufacturers should finance this. Not (only) us.
    They are responsible to this !

    I'm still astounded that just two or three months ago, I would've considered this an impossible concept. Would that I had enough money to really pitch in here, but I don't even have five bucks handy...

    How the hell did they come to the conclusion that the ones who have to pay are the ones that are concerned by pollution ?
    The ones who have to pay are the ones who create that pollution, who refuse to recycle, who refuse to find green ways to produce stuff, not the poor people who suffer from that pollution !
    So we should force first the big industrial companies and the rich countries to finance that project, before asking to the individuals. And what's 2 millions ? Absolutely nothing for them ! What a shame...

      If people didnt throw their goddamn trash in the rivers and Oceans there wouldn't be as much of a problem. YOU create pollution by throwing your stuff on the ground. Women by flushing their plastic tampon applicator down the toilet. Go fishing on any shoreline of any major river in the world and you'll probably find them on the shore. Same with condoms. Keep flushing your plastic crap down the toilet and you'll keep having issues. its EVERYONE's problem. Not just the large corporations. I dont know from what cave you crawled out of but you should think of crawling back in !

    • @bruno.giordano
      @bruno.giordano 8 лет назад

      +spook22 Of course it's everybody's concern, I didn't mean to exclude individuals. I said that the ones who should pay are the ones who create pollution, that includes myself of course. And yourself as well.
      But big companies and rich countries should pay more, because they pollute more. A lot more.
      By the way, who are you to you use such an arrogant and condescending language ?

      Dude, I dont know where your from or where you live but here's my take on your reply. For one, take a look at what people posted, then look at yours. GO AFTER THE BIG COMPANIES AND RICH COUNTRIES you said !!. Everyone was commenting on the positiveness of the project and then your comment. You suggest that rich countries finance that project..well how about asking the POOR countries that are polluting the most to finance it. How's that for a twist on things? Do you live in China.? no of course you dont because if you did you'd never be able to post what you did ..actually, you'd probably not be a able to see or post anything the government doesnt want you to see..So back to China..why dont THEY pay for it. As far as polluting countries I think they're pretty close to being at the top of the polluting Chain. ! If you had said, '' we should invest in educating the poorer nations of this world on the effects of pollution and then help them put programs in place to educate the population'' I would have liked your statement. But you didnt. Everyone throws all the burden of financing on the big industrial companies and rich countries. Dude... it starts with the person that throws his plastic water bottle on the street. Educating that person not to do that is where it starts. Ask big industrial companies and rich countries to give funds to educate people and you've got a better chance at getting them on board. Catch a fish for a guy and you've fed him for a night..teach him to fish and you've fed him for life. Over and out

      +spook22 => Who said that China shouldn't pay ? I didn't.
      Besides, you forget that YOUR country (the USA I guess) polluted this planet more than any other, probably more than China will ever do even with its 1.3 billion inhabitants !
      If anybody has to pay for ruining the planet, you, your countries and your companies should be first and pay the biggest part of the bill. Maybe that's the reason why you don't like my opinion ?
      But if I understand you well, you are trying to explain that people who should pay the most are... the poorest ????
      Excuse-me but I have to say that your logic is kind of strange ! Here is a tip for you : it's better to stay quiet, even if that makes people think you might be stupid, rather than talking too much and letting people have no doubt that you are.

    Doesn't this barrier idea create a greater concentrated build up of rubbish in a certain area of the ocean? I don't doubt that this is a very clever idea but there's the question as to what such a large construct would do to the ecosystem surrounding the ocean site. If one house on a row of houses were to be designated the "trash house", where daily everyone dumped their trash and weekly the trash collectors cleans it up for them, technically it would keep the row of houses clean, but it would ruin that one home. You could argue that the fish would do the same as what the people in that house would do "just move", but that's then contradicting the whole purpose of this project.
    On a side note, I don't think we should strive on being a society that's capable to clean up our mess, but one that prevents creating that mess. The more we focus on the clean up rather than the prevention, the more we're reinforcing people to throw stuff in the river and for a corporation to dump waste.

    • @TheWatchernator
      @TheWatchernator 9 лет назад +1

      - Yes, you concentrate the trash, and then scoop it out. Leaving a cleaner ocean. Yes, that one part would be REALLY a mess, but it's better to leave it in there. I don't see an alternative, you?
      - Sure, but if we stop throwing stuff in the ocean today, there'd still be the large amounts that's in there right now.

    How much of the donated money actually goes to the cleanup? I think the people who should be contributing the most are water bottle companies such as Nestle or Fiji etc.
