The director said this game will have all the stuff they wanted to do in KCD 1 but didn't have the money or experience. Now, they have both in abundance.
Release is expected to be late fall or early winter from what I've seen.

We were still kids😂 If you feel like it, you might wanna check out the full reveal on Warhorse's channel. It includes the 1st trailer as well but all the other stuff they included..... man. The rumour is October for release, based on the fact that they have already started the process to get the game up on the Playstation and XBox stores. Yeah, I think EPIC is the right word!

It’s not really an rumor it’s just most people think October is the earliest they can objectively release the game because gamescon is in august which will give them time to show case the game to an large audience and than build more hype

As Im sure you now know, KCD2 is coming out in Feb. Plenty of time to play the KCD1 DLCs, They are VERY worth it.

Best game of the summer game fest show (although that does not say that much, it was pretty weak show overall). I think they are not revealing specific release date because they want to wait until other AAA games announce theirs, so they can avoid clashing. Personally I expect december.
I think by Gamescon they will have the information need to give us the release date. Earliest is definitely October otherwise they would have given us the release date

@@8Paul7 I don’t think they will delay it apparently it’s playable from start to finish and now is just doing certification and bug fixes
@@lorddiethorn it is playable and almost ready, but they could delay it for marketing reason, to give it best possible chance by avoiding launching when other AAA games are being released.
