There are many, many, many successors to Shovelware Showcase. Vinny has a multi-part Awful/Weird games series for seemingly every major console. When will this guy call it quits?

1:02:41 If the display of debauchery shown on this video wasn't enough to put you off of this game, let me give you some more reasons: - The story is, in fact, a Mega Man clone, down to the rivalry between two doctors. One of the types of robots you find in this game is also called a "Copter Cam", and it's painfully abbreviated ingame to "Copcam". Make of that whatever you will - Yeah, the title theme steals from Weapon of Choice, alright, but did you also know that another of the tracks sounds just like an aborted clone of the FF7 battle theme? If you can stomach enough of this game you will hear it and it will catch you offguard - At the end of the game it's revealed that B.M. Werkin's daughter was actually a robot. D. Troit was pissed at Werkin because he was using their newfangled tech to basically bring her back to life and cling to the past, while D wanted to move forward and revolutionize robotics. This game (almost) predicted what Mega Man 11's story line would be, and I would let that slide if it wasn't for a tiny detail: - When Cid rescues Werkin's robot daughter, she kisses him and thanks him for saving her. The idiot then proceeds to tell straight to her face that she talks a lot and bores him and that Werkin should basically turn her into a home appliance TL;DR: This game is atrocious and I hope whoever birthed this onto our planet has either moved on or is extremely ashamed of what they created
Also, the jumping sound (when CID isn't making noises above it) strangely remind me of the one used on certain characters and spring... Things from Shrek 2 the videogame.

The Munchables is probably one of my favorite Wii games. Not only is it fun and addicting, but it has a soundtrack that is way better than it has any right to be. One level even remixes Luigi Mansion's theme. Its alot easier than Katamari Damancy, though some levels are a bit challenging if you're trying to 100% it because theres some puzzle elements when trying to get certain foods.

I'm impressed by so many obscure and trashy games the Wii had, and I'm already aware of how well it sold but. It still just surprises me whenever he does these videos and its always a new batch of games I've never seen in my life
For some reason i was reading passages out of the necronomicon (well, the hoax version from the 70s or whatever) in my best impression of that crash test dummy game's tutorial scientist man. It just seemed like the thing to do during the fugue state that segment of the stream put me in.
Munchables was one of my favourite games growing up so I genuinely do hope Vinny actually comes back to it, it’s super underrated and I’ve been waiting for someone to try it for the longest time
This segment should have been called Wiird Edit: I wrote this the moment I saw the title screen and I am just as angry as Vinny when a chat member beat me to it.
The character designs in that eating game really remind me of either Tamagatchi or Digimon. The two main guys in that game really remind me of baby mode Digimon and the other people remind me of Tama people. Especialy the UFOs and stuff.
I forgot how ungodly Wii shovelware could look. I think shovelware on that system are seriously the ugliest games on the planet. I've watched Max0r's Cruelty Squad video, and I had to back out of this segment halfway through because I just couldn't stand looking at some of the games.
Vinny talking about "Katamaricore" games and then Munchables just breaks out into Katamari music. Admittedly it looked like the best game of the stream.
It was made by the same lead dev and studio as the katamari games, Masatoshi Ogita and Now Production, so it makes sense that there's so much overlap. The soundtrack for Munchables is great btw, definitely worth a listen.

Only for there to be literally no other information about it and... yeah, the game didn't release. It was only on Wii and DS. The most passable M&M's game is probably the "blatant Crash Bandicoot clone" one that was on PC and PS1. They even got the actual character voices right.
I'm impressed by so many obscure and trashy games the Wii had, and I'm already aware of how well it sold but. It still just surprises me whenever he does these videos and its always a new batch of games I've never seen in my life
I would love to watch vinny complete the munchables
Why does the doctor from Cid The Dummy sound like Aunty Whispers from Over The Garden Wall?
For some reason i was reading passages out of the necronomicon (well, the hoax version from the 70s or whatever) in my best impression of that crash test dummy game's tutorial scientist man. It just seemed like the thing to do during the fugue state that segment of the stream put me in.
Wow! I forgot about the Muchables! Loved that game back in the day. Namco needs to give that one a second shot!
Munchables was one of my favourite games growing up so I genuinely do hope Vinny actually comes back to it, it’s super underrated and I’ve been waiting for someone to try it for the longest time
This segment should have been called Wiird
Edit: I wrote this the moment I saw the title screen and I am just as angry as Vinny when a chat member beat me to it.
I'd really love to see more of The Munchables at some point, such a charming game.
I miss the Sexy Green M&M.
Oh shit, Help Wanted! What a nostalgic fever dream.
1:04:09 PROFESSOR HELPER HERE
No matter how many works of art I see I will never not be fascinated by the depths of how shameless wii shovelware can get
It sounds like Vinny's voicing the red M&M
The character designs in that eating game really remind me of either Tamagatchi or Digimon. The two main guys in that game really remind me of baby mode Digimon and the other people remind me of Tama people. Especialy the UFOs and stuff.
1:12:40 I can't stop laughing at how the scientist says "chimney"
hte voice acting in cid the dummy sends me into hysterics. loved the impromptu choicer voicer segment
IM SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU PLAY MUNCHABLES OH MY GOD
Cant wait for the science man to appear in the next choicer voicer
Is Cid the Dummy using the CoD Modern Warfare font in its menu?
I forgot how ungodly Wii shovelware could look. I think shovelware on that system are seriously the ugliest games on the planet. I've watched Max0r's Cruelty Squad video, and I had to back out of this segment halfway through because I just couldn't stand looking at some of the games.
the professor's arms and hands are so fucking scary. spindly
@@warnegoodman Fully agreed, the soundtrack is great! I'm thinking of getting a copy of the game since it's actually pretty affordable on eBay.
YOOOO THE MUNCHABLES MENTIONED
Vinny played The Munchables I can die happy now
m&ms adventure was such a core memory for me as a child in the sense that it was so bad i will never forget it.
There's something about just seeing m&m adventure that makes me wish I were dead.
The m'n'm's game has about the same energy as a dying sloth.
