A friend of mine (Finnish like me) lived in New Zealand for three years and whilst she loved the country what she was surprised was how far behind New Zealand was in many business and IT based innovations. So maybe that is something you could come to learn. As a small and remote nation in Europe, we've managed to be at the top of a lot of IT based innovations. When New Zealand competes against countries like Japan and South Korean (and China in the future) you could learn from us and the Swedes how to go about it (we have different strenghts in Finland and Sweden, so it would be worthwhile to visit both) despite the challenges of competing against bigger countries. -- Not saying that you should copy our systems, because obviously these are cultural things, but just in general, as food for thought.
@@wassup8691 The local safety practice especially when it comes to kids must have a lot to do with it. Here in Finland we have kids the age of 7 going to school by themselves. On my visit to Australia some years back I was surprised to not see that many children around. Then our host for the trip told us about the safety measures regarding children and their freedom and independence. Not saying it's wrong to do it your way as that's most likely necessary, but the happiness lives in children and seeing them around everywhere spreads it around to older people who may not have kids themselves or have theirs already grown to adulthood in the past.

I found Finnish people to be very funny, intelligent and engaging. Not in an outlandish way like Italians or Spaniards but after spending 5 weeks in Switzerland taking seminars predominantly with Swiss, Germans and Russians. My finish classmates were the only ones others than Aussies who got my humour. So I decided to fly back home to Australia via Helsinki and had a marvellous time. The PM seems very switched on and their carbon neutral targets are inspiring. Good on her for having a boogie 💃 a lot of world leaders need to get the sticks out of their butts and loosen up.

The Finnish people value education for their citizens and so prioritize education as a necessity for good governance and economy. Finnland provides education funded through annual taxes paid by its citizens. So you know that a Finnish person has a qualification based on performance and merit. Finnland has the world's best work relations and health and safety practices which also includes a paid year away from work for any person who needs this time. Also, retraining or study is paid for if in those mid years of life one needs to change career. Finnish people recognise the importance of national military service, both women and men complete this. Finland also has one of the world's best healthcare systems for all citizens and this is also funded through excellent management of the taxes paid by its citizens. Finland governs with morality, and exercises ethical economic management standards... if only some of Ms Sanna`s expectations for excellence could fall like glitter on the Australian government and inspire the same intelligent way forward for Australia.

Marin Sanna is easily the most gorgeous politician in the world. She could easily be a Super Model, and maybe even the top of the hill in that discipline. She's also an astute and savvy leader, with a terrific sense of humor.

I found Finnish people to be very funny, intelligent and engaging. Not in an outlandish way like Italians or Spaniards but after spending 5 weeks in Switzerland taking seminars predominantly with Swiss, Germans and Russians. My finish classmates were the only ones others than Aussies who got my humour. So I decided to fly back home to Australia via Helsinki and had a marvellous time.
The PM seems very switched on and their carbon neutral targets are inspiring. Good on her for having a boogie 💃 a lot of world leaders need to get the sticks out of their butts and loosen up.

The Finnish people value education for their citizens and so prioritize education as a necessity for good governance and economy. Finnland provides education funded through annual taxes paid by its citizens. So you know that a Finnish person has a qualification based on performance and merit. Finnland has the world's best work relations and health and safety practices which also includes a paid year away from work for any person who needs this time. Also, retraining or study is paid for if in those mid years of life one needs to change career. Finnish people recognise the importance of national military service, both women and men complete this. Finland also has one of the world's best healthcare systems for all citizens and this is also funded through excellent management of the taxes paid by its citizens. Finland governs with morality, and exercises ethical economic management standards... if only some of Ms Sanna`s expectations for excellence could fall like glitter on the Australian government and inspire the same intelligent way forward for Australia.

It is not that we don't like Scandinavia or Scandinavians (Norway, Sweden, Denmark) it is just that we have never considered us as Scandinavians. Icelanders have "most of their roots" (1000 years ago) from Norway so you could say that Icelanders are mostly of Scandinavian heritage but still doesn't make them Scandinavian today. The Finns are of a different ethnicity in terms of language and culture. Their language is not German, it is Finno-Ugric.

People can not know what is inside one of these peoples heads, like what are their true intentions and motivations and how they are going to treat people down the line when they have power to control societys.
This video is clear example of one person showcasing her shell, we do not know who she really is and what her true motivations and intentions are.
Societys should realice and care enough that we do not need political parties and these politicians to make decisions for us, we need to make those desions together between the citizens of one country for example,it is more trustworthy that way, otherwise someone is going to abuse that power for sure and we as humans are doomed to fail in the end as we do not go anywhere and repeat history again and again.
