Non-Compete Clauses Are Destroying Healthcare | FTC Proposes A Ban

Non- Complete Clauses are a common evil in many Healthcare Provider Contracts. Trapping them at jobs that abuse them, keeping employees quiet, and diminishing patients access to care. And it's not just physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who are affected by non compete clauses! Approximately 1 in 5 people in the United States will be involved with a non compete clause within their employment throughout their lifetime. The Federal Trade Commission, or FTC is considering a ban no non compete clauses. Today we discuss the implications of Non Compete Clauses in and out of healthcare, with a particular emphasis on their destructive nature to the Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Physician Assistants in the healthcare sphere.
