Pidcock lucky he didn't get flat tyre this time, last time he was so unlucky, this time the bad luck shifted to Mathias. Great performance in this treacherous conditions.👏👏
Great win for Tom Pidcock though it would have been interesting to see how the race would of played out had Mathias Flückiger not had 2 punctures!!!Big shout out to the GOAT on another overall title awesome job Nino!!!Thank You Guys 👍👍
It's great you guys put these up. Has to unsubscibe due to the sheer number of shorts that you folks put up after these races. It's really quite annoying to see them clogging the feed up.
I'd love to see that too, but I'm not holding my breath. He's on record as saying he prefers road riding. Shame for any British MTB fans because he really is in a different class. I loved that no-filter interview too 😂
@@samblenkharn8099 actually he said mountain biking is his no1 love... So let's see... We will definitely see more of him in the coming world cyclocross.
Not a very good highlight run down seeing as it only covered the top 2 riders of the race. And who's the UCI broadcaster throwin' shade on Nino who had a flat in the last 2 races and and a mech in this one . Besides that his commentary for this and downhill is👎
They are riding on very technical terrain, full out, high speed. Pros also use a minimal amount of sealant in their tires, maybe half of what you do - every gram counts.
@@trentvlak But I doubt you are going the speed they are. No disrespect, you can likely outride me without a problem, but these guys are the elite of the elite.
Probably top in the top 5 worst highlights packages I've seen. Did the editing team have a big night or were they keen to get on the beers, after the final race? Surely you could've pulled snippets from a few of the other battles going round on what looked like a tough day at MSA.
Pidcock's interview skills need a little bit of a brush up. Feel for Fluckiger - probably would have been a different result without the two punctures. Kudos to his mechanic though - those were impressive changes.
He's a professional bike rider, not a toast master trained public speaker. He speaks from the heart, he doesn't have to speak well, he just has to ride well.
End of a long season for Pidcock too. You could see he was knackered. Gotta cut the dude a bit of slack for that. I'll personally take that authenticity over empty cliches etc any day. What a rider 🙌🏻
Pretty sure he's already tested more than anyone. Though of course a cynic could say this about half the riders in the group, and most winners of racing.
I and I presume most people watch this for highlights ‘not top two lights’. Bland and uninformative of the race as a whole which is surely the purpose of this. You’ve got the best finish of the world U23 champion to date with zero coverage, to name but one of many travesty is this excuse for highlights. Instead I got to watch someone change a wheel for close to a minute…
omg so much cheating!11 i'm literally sick of this, rules are rules, once you get off the saddle - your race is over, once you touch the ground even with one foot - your race is over! leave the track, drive home and sleep. What we have instead - folks get off their bikes in the middle of the race, walk around like they're on a leisure hike, what else do you want, maybe a sofa and jacuzzi on the side of the track? This is an utter disgrace, it shouldn't be like this. When I do some high alt trails, 1300-1400 uphill, I don't step on the ground even when going through a very narrow gate passage, I do several 3-5sec stops though simply balancing on a bike, but never take my feet off the pedals, and that's exactly how it should be on all competitions.
Racing is about getting from point A to point B as fast as possible. Getting off and running and getting back on quickly is still a skill. Ive ridden the course and it's without a doubt faster to run some of those climbs. You act like they're not even working hard but they're running as fast as possible.

Nino , what a legend, Tom pidcock would win the series if he could race all the rounds. So talented

Woot, congrats Thom!
Thanks for the video! A chance to have a sample of the Race.

And potentially ruining the result for those that weren't able to watch the race live
Fluckiger is using some really narrow bars. Old school style.
No interview with Nino???
What is the name of the song that appears at the beginning of the video?
I'm hoping to see Pidcock full commitment to mountain bike season in 2024. And we will see a god in xc bike race.

@@palpatine1975 well this was in an interview with a road bike channel so maybe he was tailoring his responses to his audience lol.

Sums up the coverage for the year really
Again Pidcock won...❤ Hes so strong ...
Nice lods
Olé...🚴🇪🇦👌🏻
How do these guys have flat tires? I ride for years with no flat tires.
I mean they are trying to goad fast as possible on xc bikes on a very chunky course

That mud looks absolutely miserable to ride in, but I guess that’s what they signed up for

Racing in a gilet??
👏👏👏👏
Crap highlights. Didn't show the winning split. Commentator days pidcock even faster at the start but he was getting passed
Only 2 guys racing? Is this the highlights of the race o just the lead? Boring
