I really like the elegant simplicity of the clothing.
Isn't it great! This era of clothing is really so comfortable and easy to wear (and pack!). It was really nice to live in this decade for a little bit!
Oh wow! That looked like an amazing trip. #VacationGoals
We had such a great time!
Your travel vlogs are the best! Thank you so much Taylor for sharing! Julia did a wonderful job hosting the trip. Can't imagine all the work and effort that went into it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a delightful trip into a decade that likely saw much tension and even grief … it might be a fantasy journey, but then again perhaps your happy hours gave that period a bit of healing. Thank you for sharing your trip with us.🤗❤️
It's always wonderful to fill a historic home with laughter and joy!
What an amazing looking weekend. In that setting it looked like a fairytale come to life. Thank you for taking us along, if only for a glimpse.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It truly was a special experience!
Oh Taylor! This was amazing! Thank you for sharing this vlog. I saw pics on FB but this vlog gave the experience real life! So beautiful! Thank you!
Oh my! This looks so amazing! Electricity is overrated, that is a beautiful house!!
Hahaha there was definitely some electricity (thank goodness because it was sooooo dark without it, but we used candles when we could!
Wow. Thank you for taking us along. I’m making a 1790s wardrobe right now for New Orleans Anne Rice vampire parties this Halloween.
Ohhhh that sounds like a wonderful trip! I love New Orleans!
That looked so peaceful and relaxing.
Oh, you were not 50 miles away from my house !
I hope you enjoyed your time in France, and had the time to visit a little bit around the chateau. There is a lot of beautifull villages and forests in this part of the country, and a lot of historical sites, from the romans and gauls to the 20th century.
I was absolutely enchanted with this region of France! It was so beautiful with such interesting history!
I bet you cried when you left... such a wonderful unique experience
Thank you, I miss the French scenery (and Crémant) and this was delightful. I must admit I'm not sure which of your outfits I liked the best.
What a lovely experience!

You are so welcome!
What a dream trip! Everything so wonderful--and absolute agreement, seeing a house's age and weathering gives me goosebumps. It's such an amazing feeling known so many souls have passed through and stood upon the spot I am standing. Thank you very much for sharing!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh my! What a magical adventure!

It was so lovely! And so much work from you. I felt as if I'm there again with you all chilling in 1790s 💕
I love doing these videos since it's such a great way to capture the experience so I can go back and watch again and again!
What a beautiful trip! Thank you for making a video about it. It's so cool that the chateau still has a functional moat. Seeing all your jewelry laying on top of the mantel reminds me - will you be making a new jewelry showcase video anytime soon? I love those videos.
Thank you for this feedback! I'm so glad you like the jewelry videos! I hope to do one for featured items in the Autumn :)
@@DamesalaMode Yay! :)
What time of year did you visit the chateau? Loved your video!
You must return and greet the owners who are buried in the cemetery including the last countess Cécile de Treil de Pardailhan who was mayor of this village. Children once a year we raced around the castle to win a small lot, it was the only time we could enter this place. I regret that the dovecote was not rebuilt ...
How wonderful! Hopefully next time I visit I can go and pay my respects!
Hallo soone there
Why are the men not wearing powdered wigs? I know powdered wigs were going out of fashion, but some people still wore them in 1790s
