Everyone who's beaten Loma has done so controversially. The dude is like if AI created a fighter. Salido threw roughly a billion illegal shots (I believe illegal strikes attempted was around 200, while he landed over 50) and never lost a point and got worked by Loma the whole fight yet won on a corrupt judging decision because it was his last fight. Lopez, didn't do enough to win despite Lomas slow start. Haney, got taken to school but easily put up the best show any opponent has managed. The dudes never legitimately lost a fight in pro boxing. They've all been either bad or atrociously bad robberies. But that happens to a lot of Eastern European fighters, the judges fuck them over at such a high rate that it's a wonder they ever win a decision at all. Look at GGG when he beat Canelo twice and finally after he'd slowed down a bit and Canelo felt he could legitimately win (maybe with some special sauce in his veins as well, because we know he's not above doing it) he fought him again and finally delivered a winning performance, yet GGG didn't get a win in the first two fights both of which he clearly won...like it wasn't even arguable.
The Haney robbery was painful, because you could see the puppet strings/wheels turning. No way was the young black cash cow going to lose a decision in that one. Loma would have had to knock him out twice just to get a draw.
Catterall/Taylor is still thr worst one I've seen.

You could tell judging by a judge tonight having it a draw that they weee trying to rob somebody again. If Ryan hadn’t dropped Devin four times and had his face that lumped up they would have robbed him. Ryan beat the judges and the reff that reff protected Haney from getting stopped completely
And totally agree about the canelo GGG fight I was at the first two there was people booing next to me everyone I sitting near thought GGG won

Lomachenko beat Haney
Lomachenko once again fought only half the fight. He was basically asleep doing nothing for the first few and the last 4. loma simply didnt do enough. The topic is old, it was analysed 100 times, haney won, fair and square. It was a close fight after all.

im guilty of it myself in the past, but i really think we need to stop picking holes in a boxer's mentality every time they get knocked out without being unconscious. especially in the lower weight classes, liver shots can be just as deadly if not more than headshots, and if your entire body shuts down then that's not quitting that's a knockout. they take the knee because they know they're about to collapse and hurt themselves, and there's a difference between refusing to get up and being unable to

Honestly I think Ryan's only chance is to catch Haney with a level changing lead hook like he did with Campbell, and like Canelo loves to do. Haney folds in half at the waist more often than not and I could see him getting caught in a similar way when Canelo broke BJ Saunders' orbital. Haney should win, but hopefully Ryan can make it interesting.

i feel devin should win this fight, but one thing i see a lot is people downplaying ryan garcia and his ability as if he has absolutely no chance against devin. Ryan cant just reach where he is right now by just luck obviously it took talent and experience. Sure devin is more technical, has the better footwork and better ig but people need to remember that ryan garcia is a power puncher and power punchers don't need to technically perfect for 12 rounds they just need to be perfect for at least one round or less

These videos and captions are literally getting ridiculous. Is Haney too much? Really? Too many people building up their hopes on Haney as if he's Superman or something. He gets hit just like everyone else. He barely got by an 11 year older Lomachenko. He got hurt by Linares and put on Bambi legs 🦵🏾 Now we know he's a good fighter but so is Ryan. To suggest otherwise is being biased. Haney has no losses because he never fought Tank at 135. Had he, he'd be in the same boat as Ryan. All of HHanes opponents were carefully selected. They picked the weakest link in kambosas, who had all the belts. They fought that guy twice because they knew Devin would win. They fought Lomachenko when he was older and slowed down from his glory days. Even then , Devin barely beat him. They fought Regis, who to me, has always been trash. He's slow, calculated, little to no footwork and nowhere near elite. That somes up Devin in a nut shell. But the major hype is coming from his last fight and how he made an ordinary fighter look exactly that, ordinary. For me, Ryan's the most dangerous fighter Devins faced as a pro and I'm not convinced as everyone else seems to be that this is an easy win for Devin. I think Ryan wins this fight. Why, not only speed , power and youth. But also Devin having a false sense of security coming off the Regis fight. I believe Ryan's gonna give Devin a big dose of reality come Saturday night. Saying and proving that he is not Loma, Regis, kambosas or any of those other guys. He's different by far and wether Haney makes a mistake or not, Ryan's gonna create openings to hurt Devin.

I didn't like him at all leading up to the Tank Davis fight and seeing the way people have insulted him for a brutal liver shot has made me warm up to him. I'm rooting for him in this fight. Haney completely blatantly robbed Lomanchenko in their fight. Loma smashed him the entire fight while Haney ran away. Haney loves running from the fight.

Haney's a couple levels above Garcia. Plus, at 140+, or 140++++, he's developing punching power. So far, Haney hasn't shown any Mayweather-like or Crawford-like ruthlessness, but I think this fight will be like Mayweather-Gatti: dazzling but hard to watch.
