    Wallin can’t knock AJ out, so AJ will feel safe enough to take the fight to Wallin and try to flatten him. AJ has been gun shy since the first Ruiz fight and seemed much more worried about losing than winning. So fighting a guy who can’t knock him out should be a confidence booster.
    Unless Wallin does knock him out. 😂 Bosh!

      I think he’s been more worried about being shot with half the fight to go tbh. But having faced usyk twice, I don’t think the south paw thing should be too much of an issue. He may well be thinking of wearing him down before trying a a ko with 12 rounds in mind

    The 2 fights with usyk has probably given him the experience to deal with the southpaw style very well given that he made the Improvments in the 2nd fight to make it a closer competition than the first. And given wallins' lack of speed in comparison, I think jousha should be able to take this fight very comfortably to a win

    • @gsimon123
      @gsimon123 11 месяцев назад

      Disagree. It showed he couldn't contend with a southpaw for 24 rounds. AJ found no answers in that fight and here is fighting a bigger southpaw who won't go for a boxing decision like Usyk. Wallin will be willing to actually get after AJ if he hurts him. Usyk let AJ off the hook a few times and is tiny. Wallin is much bigger and a decent amount meaner too. He's not as fast or good a boxer as Usyk - but he's got better traits than Usyk in other areas.

    Something people also forget is that Wallin hurt Fury BAD in 12th round of their fight. When Fury gets hurt, usually his response is to start throwing to back the other guy up and discourage him from continuing to throw. Fury was clinching and holding on for dear life for the majority of Round 12. Joshua's recovery is not good, so if Walling can hurt him that could be the end.

      Lion Heart? Please. This jerk sat on the HW belts for years, fighting just once a year against shot boxers. He would fight a 40 year old man, and then take a year off, before fighting a 39 year old dude. Eddie Hearn cherry picked easy bouts for him, until one of his picks went wrong and big fat Andy Ruiz knocked AJ out. I will be surprised if he even shows up for the Wallin fight, if it doesn't get cancelled I expect Wallin to beat him without difficulty.

    Wilder-Parker & Joshua-Wallin are both good matches.
    But it feels bitter-sweet when evreyone wanted Wilder-Joshua, the fight that just keeps away at bay from all.
    Wilder and Joshua are both the favourites, but both Parker and Wallin have decent chanses of making upsets. Former WBO champ Parker is a hard-working guy who have
    built up a lot of experience in his career and feels very motivated. As long as he can avoid that right-hand of Wilder, he can win a decision.
    Wallin is a tricky south-paw who have proven to be a very competitive and hungry. Wallin is skilled and well schooled in the art, but is no big puncher so what we have in there is the scenario that if Joshua can't stop Wallin early on or put in an impressive dent, the fight will turn in favour for Wallin the longer the fight goes on and Wallin can do enough to win a decision.

    • @glynhannaford7332
      @glynhannaford7332 11 месяцев назад +1

      Lots of big 'IFs' here bud. The chances are though, Parker won't avoid Wilder's atomic right for twelve rounds, and Joshua will ko or seriously hurt Wallin, probably within six rounds.
      The chance of an upset in either fight is not strong.

    • @truthoverlies6434
      @truthoverlies6434 11 месяцев назад

      That fight isn't extremely desirable anymore, at least to me. Almost no one talks about it. If they both win on this card, then that reignites demand and gives a perfect opportunity for a face-off. Although they need to look impressive. If AJ struggles against Wallin, but gets a gift decision in his new hometown over there in the Middle East where he's "the guy," then people will just write him off. I don't give him any chance against Wilder or Fury and I don't care to see either fight right now. Honestly, I'd rather see AJ vs Zhang. I think AJ loses that too.

      @glynhannaford7332 11 месяцев назад +2

      @RowOfMushyTiT I'm not sure where you've got that from.
      Joshua vs Wallin is one fight if AJ wins and two fights if Wallin wins. Whoever comes out the victor, will face Hrgovic early next year for the IBF belt when that becomes available.

    • @WarioSaysSo
      @WarioSaysSo 11 месяцев назад

      @@RowOfMushyTiT Well if both wins that could happen, but doubtfull still. Joshua seems to rather hope for that the IBF belt becomes vacant so he can fight the much easier Hrgovich then the more dangerous right hand puncher Wilder.
      Joshua rather take an easy way then what the fans want.

    I do wonder if the Fury fight flattered Wallin.. it was a poor night for Fury that night, so this will spark some triangular logic comparisons if AJ does what he should do. I don't think Ben Davidson is a bad choice, actually, as he kept Fury calm when that cut was bad, and obviously knows what it's like to see Wallin in the other corner. It's just weird that we all now have to factor in how AJ fights against himself rather than the opponents.

    • @ultravi0lence
      @ultravi0lence 11 месяцев назад +1

      It absolutely did flatter Wallin, he’s never looked so good. What’s he ever done to get the praise he does? The Fury fight was more Fury having a bad night than Wallin having a good one. Not to mention AJ has already flattened him twice in the amateurs and sparred with him numerous times, he’ll be super confident.

    It was unanimous as hell, 116-112, 117-111 and 118-110.

    Wallin is decent but the problem is most of his plaudits come from giving fury a hard night which is not a goot measure of somebodys skill (aka Razor Ruddock). But aside from the cut if you just score the fury fight wallin was actually being pretty handily outboxed. He is very durable and may go the distance but i think AJ has more pop than fury and at some point will hurt wallin. If Walling tries to throw back he gets stopped else i predict he will go into his shell and lose on a UD. Unfortunately i just dont see him having the skillset to beat AJ

    The thought that immediately springs to my mind is that Ben Davidson as a trainer, focuses mainly on being a defensive tactician. He's not renowned for getting his fighters into an "attacking" mode, and I think AJ has had too much of that mentality since the Ruiz fight. He needs to take charge of this fight right from the first bell, or Wallin will try and land some big bombs in the early rounds.
