- Verses in 1 Corinthians 15 clearly express some attributes of the Rapture of the Christian Church, but the phrase “at the last trumpet” can be more difficult to grasp. This teaching illustrates that the Corinthian culture was immersed in athletics and explains why God communicated truth to the Corinthians in terms they could understand. It is then we see what that phrase signifies.

However we can't know at what period of time the last trumpet will sound. Assuming that it will sound before the tribulation is biased. ALL the prophets are talking about the great tribulation and the role of God's people withing that period of time. Let me just mention Psalm 46, which says that God is our refuge in times of tribulation (when mountains are moved, the waters roar, and the earth tremble and etc) v8 Come, and behold....the desolations.
I agree that the Olympic trumpet has nothing to do with the trumpet of God in regard to the context. But one thing you will have to consider is that the 7 trumpets were given to the 7 angels OF THE CHURCH (the church role of the seven angels is explained in the beginning of the Revelation) It is the CHURCH who blows the trumpet (the prophetic word of God, by which the plagues are released). The plagues of Egypt was released by Moses and Aaron, leaders of the Qahal (THE CHURCH) and I don't think that God has changed strategy since Moses. The fact that the punishment will be released by God's people is confirmed by many of the prophets - read for example Psalm 149:6-9, which tells that the godly will execute the JUDGMENT WRITTEN.

The word "Mystery" itself means in Greek "Secret". mystḗrion /μυστήριον/ a mystery, "SECRET", in the NT: Once hidden but now revealed in the Gospel or some fact thereof. Something unknowable. Rather, it is what can only be known through revelation, i.e. because God reveals it. Paul was thee only one shown this "Mystery", no body else.

I do not think the unsaved will hear that trumpet blast? I know they will not see Him, it will be too fast and besides they didn't love Him then why should they be allowed to see something that intimate between God's Church.

I beleive the last trumpet may be ...the last of the 100 trumpets that are blown on the feast of trumpets .....after the day that no man knows the day or hour ...it's is wen there is a 2 day period were ..the people in isreal don't know the day nor hour until thy see the first sliver of the moon ..than thy blow the trumpets to let the people know ...

Make perfect sense. It's only for the people at that time in that culture in that region. Now that those ancient people are dead 'the last trump' means nothing to us as we are not 'steeped in that culture'.
Wow that's a lot of assumptions. And if a person isn't an athlete or from the Roman world? We have no idea of the Corinth culture, we don't practice anything from that day. Even the Olympics are no where close to that day.
