Have always liked Monogram kits. Their aircraft always had nice pilot figures included! Many aircraft were a mish-mash with different variations of the real aircraft incorporated in the model... but most of us "kids" at the time didn't realize that. They had folding wings, retractable landing gear, opening canopies, crew figures and other features, rivet counting wasn't as important.
Boy, that sure brought back some great memories from my childhood. I built quite a few of those kits.
