I remember building this in the 1970s, Novo were they from Russia or old Frog casts?

I got 007's Aston Martin, red Chrysler, fire chief's Impala, Chrysler Ghia, VW Karmann Ghia, Commer Van set and Bedford fire- and car-trucks. Also thanks for the happy memories.

I also had this catalogue, aged about 11 - great models and Meccano too - what happy times they were (apart from school and girls of course!)

fedt med de helt gamle kataloger. den er der vidst ikke mange af tilbage har du også fra 1992 og 1994. dem har jeg selv og har et udpluk af dem på min kanal. din video er nok bedre da man ser hele siden og ikke kun udpluk som på mine videoer.

Wow, that literally took me back to the 1980's. As the pages of the catalogue were being turned, I was thinking, 'had that', 'and that'.

Such timeless designs, not a single piece would look out of place in a contemporary setting.

All those 1/72 helicopters: Wessex, Bell 412, Pave Low, OH-6A, OH-58, UH-1N.... Almost impossible to find now; if you can the cost is outrageous. The 1/48 Hueys were good too. Wish they would bring some of them back even though I still have many in my stash.

I built so many of those kits, especially the 1/720 ships and the larger aircraft carriers- Hornet, Saratoga, Wasp. I can still remember the box art.

Old catalogues are great, some are even works of art when you see all the work they've put into them. I pick up old catalogues, leaflets and brochures whenever I can for a decent price, it still beats all kinds of databases when you want specific information on certain models.

This one I 'm rembering precisely. I was 9 years old back then, which means we were "Generation Airfix". Every available "D-Mark" went into improving my "Strike Force". Having a kit to build over the weekend made my day. That went on until I discovered TAMIYA at 11, in 1976,.
