Look at me grinning from ear to ear. I really love this for Toni! Not a lot of people experience love/know how to love. Seeing people realise their true emotional potential is exciting to watch!!
Loved this interview. Both women are so articulate and the conversation flowed naturally. Touched on great topics. Great watch and worth every minute. Well done ladies👌
1 hour well spent. This is me watching this after Toni's engagement proposal. Took a lot of gems from this and would definitely write my list after this because I feel so confident about doing it for the first time.
I'm not done watching but this has been an interesting conversation so far. I liked how Toni answered the question regarding why she chose to post her partner on social media in light of her not having any doubt or fear regarding the relationship. On why many black people don't post their relationships online, especially in Nigeria, and apart from the already established reason of the possibility of the relationship breaking off later on, I think it also has to do with the following reasons: 1. The fear of people making efforts to soil a relationship through conspiracies or witchcraft. 2. The fear of one's partner "entering someone else's eye" because of too much posting. 3. Fear of people's criticisms and judgements. 4. For the love of good ol' privacy and the desire to keep one's relationship offline.
I absolutely loved watching this and hearing these two women bounce off one another. Tolly is a great host and conversationalist and Toni is transparent and relatable and I’m absolutely here for this.
My family is toxically disruptive that’s first and foremost reason and second Im naturally private, not secretive just private. But this interview was great! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Toni Tone is such a fresh breath of air and every time I listen to her I’m like 😅, yes that’s what I wanted to say but did not have words for it. I’m definitely getting her book finally 😀
This was such a great talk. Both of you ladies are great conversationalists! I’m definitely more like Toni in liking the “goofy” and “simp” guy. I love the “too nice” guy, who loves showing it. If anyone seems like a bad boy at all, and I could be wrong but if I sense it, I’m running for my life! Good to hear that Toni is in a space where she feels safe to post her man. ❤️😍
I feel like the things women want is the same thing men of old always wanted. A woman that’s unhealthily devoted to them (not saying it’s right) but women nowadays are asking for the same thing men have been shamed for wanting/taking advantage of. Women talk about wanting a man like Russel Wilson, a man that’s all about them, seems as though he has next to no boundaries when it comes to his “no”. I just think this is a really unhealthy time we live in where women can say/want anything under the guise of women having been through it in the past - under the guise of victimhood, they can say anything.
This aged so well ❤
I love hearing her talk , about her and her relationship. She’s just that girl
