New Trails & Features at Gamehaven with TKolbo - MinnesotaMTB - SireSingletrack - Rochester, MN

- Recently my buddy @Tkolbo_ invited myself and a couple other Minnesota RUclipsrs @MinnesotaMTB_ and @ElTerrible2011 down to Gamehaven Reservoir in Rochester to ride some new trails and features that the local club he is involved with, Rochester Active Sports Club, has been hard at work building. Joining us were some other members of RASC, Alec and Jake, who were awesome guides and helped film plenty of 3rd person shots!
I first rode Gamehaven in the fall of 2020, where I randomly met Travis at the trailhead and he gave me the full tour of the trails at Gamehaven Reservoir. Since then, I have ridden here a few more times with Travis and the trails here are always expanding. For this ride though, there were several new features everywhere, lots of new jumps and tabletops, and even a brand new black diamond trail called Entry Fee, a first in Rochester!
Entry Fee was very technical with it's off-camber cut down the elevation and plenty of exposed roots and slippery rocks. I am a huge fan of the Entry Fee trail, in a time where most trails are machine-cut smooth flow trail, it was awesome to ride some raw, off-camber technical steep trail! Don't forget about the price of admission where the trail gets its name, a drop off a sandstone rock wall! (There is an optional rollable ride-around)
This ride was a blast and if you have never ridden the trails in Rochester before, I suggest you go ride here! Can't wait to see how this trail system continues to expand!

Looks like a fun trail, especially the new black diamond section.
Gamehaven has been steadily improving over the years, and this past season they have really stepped it up building plenty of new trails and features. I love the new black diamond Entry Fee! In a time where everything seems to be wide machine cut smoothed out flow trail, it was awesome to ride a raw and sketchy hand cut off-camber trail that tests all your skills on the bike, it would take a few laps for me to do a clean descent!
Bummed I couldn’t make this day. Gamehaven looked like a blast with an awesome crew! Nice little ender with the mini ramp.
We missed you that day, one of these times you'll get down there and hopefully TKolbo himself can give you the full tour! Place has improved a ton over the years and there are some bigger drops in the quarry that would be of interest to you! Always got to make a pit stop at the Zumbrota skate park mini ramp on the way back from Rochester, cross discipline training!

Sessioning features with a crew is the best, and they have a lot of features now at Gamehaven! Entry Fee is such a great trail, different from anything around really and I'm surprised Rochester has a raw, off-camber trail like that first!

Always a great time riding with you at Gamehaven ever since you gave me the full tour there that day! You and RASC have really improved the trails there and I love the new trail Entry Fee. Raw, hand-cut, off camber sketchiness that is a CHALLENGE, just how black diamond trails should be! Get back up North one of these weekends next year!
Fun trails that got even funner with some even funner-er dudes. Glad I was able to beat the case on that tombstone floater double. The future of Rochester mountain biking is in good hands with Jake, Alec and Dr. Kolbo calling the shots. Nice video my dude.
Fun riding with you and the rest of the crew that day, sessioning and party trains all day there! Judge Judy gave a full pardon for that textbook send on the tombstone floater. I like the direction Gamehaven is headed with the guidance of TKolbo and others, Entry Fee is one rad trail!

Yooo thanks man, TKolbo has definitely brought some Wyoming style to the Gamehaven trails ever since he moved here and became an active builder for the local club. There's so much improvements & rock features here now, new rock jump on Rocky Ridge just pops you off the lip like butter 🧈

Great video, and I loved all of the 3rd shots it really tied the video together!Such a rad day riding Gamehaven with Ya'll! Cant wait to see what is in store for the trails here in the near future. Look to coming out again next year.

Such a great ride, awesome to get the full tour from some of the members involved in building and maintaining Rochester's trails! Always a great time riding Gamehaven with TKolbo and I'm sure there will be even more new features next season. Having Alec and Jake filming all those 3rd person shots really helped make the video, big thanks to them!
