These GC showcases are great because the first several games often are against the crazy weird style of decks most players face at mid ladder madness. Then as the GC goes further up it gets more and more into the true meta and showcases the deck vs. that. So informative. Especially this one. When my sons friends ask what deck they should focus on I always say hog cycle. it was meta when I started playing this game 6 years ago and it has never really left!

I play x-bow so what I know is you have to get your x-bow lock in single elixir then fireball cycle. I’m suprised the guy you versed didn’t go in after you put an ice golem in the back. If the x-bow player doesn’t get damage in single elixir the 2.6 player has the advantage as long as they keep put the pressure with hogs

Apart from that bridge spam deck, rg with archer Queen / splashyard are also really hard counters . I always lose when my opp is 200hp or smth like that 😭

Hey Boss, I'd love to know to way you master a Deck. Could you maybe make a Video on that? I've been playing the same Deck for a long time but I don't really feel like I'm improving, and since there is no Tutorial that can teach everything about a Deck I thought that maybe hearing your process on mastering/improving at a Deck would help.

Usually I try to use ice spirit instead of skeles when I'm activating king off of megaknight bc one time someone was playing this wierd garbo deck and played like trash the entire game but then did a really good predict on the king tower activation with zap on my skeles and I lost.

I use 2.8 Hog cycle for tournaments! Knight for Ice Golem helps me take care of big tanks such as Mega Knight.
Eragon says it is slightly 2.6 matchup. Bc the 2.6 player can stall the xbow forever and just spell cycle to win
Boss you could’ve placed the hog rider at the bridge having the mk jump towards the hog and would free u up to defend the wb’s

for the next pekka video, I'd love to see a ram rider version cuz that's what I play and i think there's a variant of it with the mother witch, which is a boosted card, so might be good for mid-ladder player to get a deck with a boosted card xD
boosted card is not quite useful ,12 tower level
players already have a few lv14 cards,and 11 is at least

The first loss you played well honestly if that one skeleton didn’t get 500 dmg on tower you would’ve won. Sometimes there’s an rng factor

FOR PEKKA DECK:
I’d recommend the pekka ram rider deck I use. It’s overall solid just defend first, play slow & counter push both lanes at once
Pekka, e-wiz, ram rider, bandit, baby dragon, poison, zap, barb barrel
Good pushes= pekka+e-wiz/ baby d
Ram rider + bandit at bridge
Pekka tanking for ram rider
Etc..
I e been using it for 3 years straight and constantly hit 6500+
I would love to use the deck,but it would take forever to upgrade

Really love the full GC vids. I'm a 2.6 player and I'm stuck at 5k trophies right now. I have mostly lvl 12 cards with one or two lvl 13's and a max hog. I'm not sure if that has a big effect on win rate but yeah...
I've seen people win games with underleveled 2.6 hog so I might just be a bad player. Is Hog 2.6 a viable deck farther up past mid ladder?

8:58 I think they wait because they find it cool and valuable to drop the mega knight on top of the troops, that's why they wait until the "perfect moment" to play it.
Like, you play a musk at the back, they leak until the musk crosses it and then BAM, ya know? Kinda funny and annoying, to be honest.
What's even funnier is that they just straight up drop the mega knight on top of the middle of everything. When the troops are pushed back the mega knight doesn't even splash everything with it's normal attack because they didn't place the mega knight towards the edge where the troops walk into it

Not lavaloon. I use lavaloon at that range, and it's pretty bad

from what I have seen from oyasuu you definitely didn't play enough hog riders against the splash yard deck XD.
Please do splashyard with knight for a full GC, I'm sure GY is a popular win condition and a lot of ppl wants to be better at it, so please make a video with splashyard, ty! Love your videos as always!

Against xbow it’s a 50/50 as it can go both ways, it might even be 55/45 favouring 2.6

45:40 x bow is a hard counter for 2.6 as when x bow and Tesla in the same Lena with one x bow already on the game it's hard
hey, idea of video: a full GC with a really oldschool deck, but after each win you change 1 card to make it more meta, including the cards based on their release date (so, champions only in the latest stage of GC)

We rather see the same deck (the one you're best with, your favorite) but top 10 gameplay than seeing different decks on GCs or ladder. At least for me that is the case. Been a subs for 2 years now.

From an xbow 1 trick for the last year id say 55-45 for 2.6, if you face a very good 2.6 player they will rarely lose to xbow, the best xbow players can consistently beat 2.6 though
