I am in awe of your collection of supplies. It's absolutely beautiful. We share an interest in horror and criminal justice. You are very organized. I have to see everything I have. It makes me look like a mess. I cannot explain it to people. They call me a hoarder. I am not a hoarder. What I have is a life. They should get one instead of judging me. I love your journal book with color swatches. It takes time to create an artist's life. You certainly have a good handle on your creative space. Thank you for sharing.
I am the same way I need to see things and I need them in reach. For me out of sight is out of mind and I forget what I have all together. Some people are visual storage keepers or visual organizers and for the others that can have things away they do not get it. But if you watch any of the organization shows they talk about the types that need to see there is a way for visual people to stay organized (though i have not mastered it yet) things like using wall storage bins that contain things to keep them neat and visually appealing. Like I cannot use dresser drawer and stay organized I use shelves and hang things up. But I also have that odd bit that I hate visual clutter it makes me crazy but I need everything out? does that make sense? I so want to be an out of sight minimalist but somehow have to accept I am not lol specially with art supplies.
I've been feeling guilty as all get out for the variety of beautiful tools I have invested in. some projects had a very short life span, others come in seasons of makes, or become 'someday-i'll-get-around-to-it' ideas. But I am prepared... Its easier to accumulate stuff than learning to master each. And I've often underestimated my attention span when my 'sos' (shiny object syndrome) kicks in. Everything has been used...at least half a dozen times, and I've put numerous 'go bags' together so now I use a different one every few weeks....adding 'what's missing' (I.e. 'sos' trip to the art store) as i go. And i have become more skilled in a few areas (five +/- years at it) that alleviate the guilty pleasures feeling of waiting for the right time, and just enjoy the creative impulses that now have tools i know how to use better, thanks to tutorials like yours. So a big thank you for all your detailed efforts. It's important for me to find balance, and I live with folks who find it incomprehensible that hours can go by in absolute 'art zone', with zero awareness of time passing. Ah well... I have learned to use timers to come up for air and socialize periodically, and act like I'm interested in other things.
Don't ever feel guilty for something that harms no one and makes you happy!

I think ART is a much healthier way to spend a few hours than watching TV, on the phone or on the computer playing games or in one or more Social media groups.
After a few uninterrupted hours with your Art you probably have something to show for your time.
Most Importantly, it is the calm and Joy you have after the time you've spent with your Art.
I literally lol when I read the "I have learned to use timers to come up for air and socialize periodically, and act like I'm interested in other things." lol act like I am interested LOL Ohmygoodness that is so TRUE!!! but yes so hard not to feel guilty with all the new things...but even harder not to buy them. :)

I’m still chuckling because I was able to see many of my own collections. I even have your desk from Ikea, which I love. Pencil cases I gifted my grandson, and loads of pencils. This is why I absolutely love your channel. You are such a bubbly person, I always feel better after watching one of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing.
Great organization of a great space. The Munich, Germany Olympic Games was in 1972. Some sad history that happened during that games. The 1976 games was in Montreal, Canada.

Thanks so much for the tour. You have an awesome collection of color there. I’ve been coloring for many years and keep my finished projects in a binder. I use page protectors that have holes for the binder part. I keep them in chronological order so I can hopefully see how I’ve improved over time. Love your reviews and the detail you use. I feel like I’ve learned a lot from your obvious great knowledge of color, coloring and products.

I subscribed to colouring heaven this year because I just started colouring recently. I needed something to do because of have really severe anxiety. Sometimes it's so bad I get stuck and can't focus on anything I just sit and worry. It's hard to explain but I feel totally disconnected from what's going on around me coz I'm worrying and panicking So much. So art and crafts help to bring me back to reality and focus on something else.

I used to color a lot then in 2019 I realized I was not reading anymore so then all I did was read books. So in 2020 I have started splitting my time between coloring again and reading. I am enjoying coloring again so much - so I understand being fixated on one hobby.
Maria T I had that dilemma and now I draw and color while listening to audio books. Love it!

I'm new to your channel, so please don't take this the wrong way...but I'm always curious when I see so many supplies, if coloring is just a hobby or is it an actual job ? I'm in awe of all the materials but cannot fathom how people can afford all these things for a hobby ! Love the horror theme. Beautiful collection.
Definitely a hobby. 90% of what you see was gifted to me by the companies x

Omg! As bad as me with pencils! Lol. 😄 😄. The only set I didn't see, and I thought you had a set of is the Holbein pencils! I think that's how it's spelt, lol. I rub my boxes that have my special babies in them also! People ask me, why haven't you used them! Lol. 😄 😄. It's funny, I just know I have them. And there fine just were there at. I can look at them anytime need be! 😂😂😂. I absolutely love looking at beutifull pencils in the cases. Isn't that weird! Lol. Same thing also, have stuff everywhere that I want to start doing, and I still haven't gotten around to do yet. Right! Not enough time in the day! ,😂😂. I love when you guys show us your work areas. I would love to get the art craft box. It's got so many different names. I'm sure you have seen it on Facebook. When you open, and table can come down. And space after space for any kinda art, crafts. Anything you want to use it for. But it's a pretty good size. Also seen so many different prices on it also. So I don't trust some of those sites says you can get for this price. But it's for small space like yours, to be able to put all that in. I want one bad! Lol. I think it's all great how you have it together. Better than mine! Omg! Mine is a hot mess right now. Lol. Thanks for sharing! 😉 ❤.

I was actually in search of the artwork you did using the Black Widow Skin Wax Coloured Pencils mentioned in another of your videos, but I couldn't find any art. In attempting to find the Art, I ended up here! 😅 and what a treat it has been!
I've only just bought the Black Widows yesterday. I'm out of practice but would like to try to get back to drawing again, so I thought it would be a good idea to watch some real artists showing examples of how to use colours properly. I found your colour chart very helpful, thank you.
Your organizational skills are through the roof! It's really not easy to fit everything into a tight space! It requires a lot of thought; as you not only have to get everything to fit, but you also have to make it practical and functional...as well as having good memory recall when it's time to put your tools away. You did a fantastic job! And yes! Your parents are wonderful in allowing you to live your dream in the family living room. I wish I was rich Claire, I would buy you a large studio so you could really, fully express yourself, but as the saying goes, 'When life gives you Lemons, make lemonade', and you sure did! 😅

People call them lever hole punches or just hole punches. I like to call them designer hole punches because of the different designs and shapes they make. Love this video, has given me many ideas for my art room.

I currently have all my stuff out and visible and within reach but I think I could use some of the Ikea storage...

Claire I really loved and enjoyed the tour! I've got the swordfish pencil Sharpener and I love it! I love league of gentlemen too! I'm older than you, I remember when it was first screened on BBC2 and instantly loved the dark humour! Even now when someone is called Dave I want to say "your my wife now" 🤣 the toad man and the jobseeker's are my favourite but love Tubbs and the shop, all of it 😍 my pencils are all in Amazon bought pencil cases. You're so humble Claire, you couldn't be a show off if you tried ❤ I love horror, love your diamond painting, I love the terrifier, took me a while to realise he's a demon not just a scary clown. I've rambled on but we have so much in common, I wish you lived next door to me ❤ oh yeah and my dining room/living room is like yours!

You need to gift yourself a portfolio to store your completed loose drawings until you can find them a forever home. Perhaps a giveaway to loyal fans or donations to a local hospital or nursing homes.

Maybe seeing as how some kind people sent this stuff toyou, you could send some stuff onto other budding artists, sounds fair to me, you said yourself you've not got this me to use all this stuff, so give some stuff away to people who can't afford these items, I think that would show you as being a kind hearted soul!!! I do lots of giveaways on my channel (just sent some books & pencils to a winner in Australia) and just last week I gifted 2 huge bags of supplies to a friend of mine who is starting her crafting/art hobby. A few years ago I took a massive box of art supplies to our local Children's hospital. My son uses the colour pocket when it's no-screen time.
