Hi all! I am so sorry about some of the sound glitches. I'm not sure what happened. The only way to fix it is to pull it and record a voice over throughout the entire thing, which I may do in the future, but just sadly don't have the time right now :(

I think it's my favorite studio tour on youtube. It looks so fresh and airy, not too cluttered. I've seen many studios where everything is organized but they just have so much stuff that it's jus spilling out everywhere. But because you're using actual furniture and not craft-storage stuff, it fits beautifully.
There was a time when I would've loved an art room like this but I realized I didn't want to be shut up away from my family when I color. So now I have a desk in front a large window in the living room (away from the TV and filled with all my supplies) and a bookshelf to the right filled with my coloring books. It's perfect (for me)!
Awe thank you - you're so kind. Yeah, I did want to avoid traditional craft furniture. The only piece that is "craft" furniture is my turntable thingy. Funny you mention being around everyone. My studio is actually on the floor with all three kids rooms, so I'm up there with them :)

Beautiful art space Kori. Love the natural light and your barn door cabinets. All the organization speaks to me and reminds me of the office/sewing room I had in my home. My apartment cannot accommodate that kind of dedicated space (dang!). I would want my coloring books in my art studio, but that's just me. Enjoy your private space. Thanks for the tour. They will be in there, but that's not until my contractor remodels the closet and they will go in there. For now, they are on a nice bookshelf in my main office just downstairs.

Great room! So many regrets we don’t have a spare room. I just color at my dining table. I really have to invest in storage containers for gelpens, etc. Now I use sole empty ice cream boxes but they aren’t see through and not a great format. Thank you for sharing!
Nothing wrong with being at the dining table! You're around everyone too.

Such an Beautiful room!! I would really love to have a room for myself!! Just for my coloring. I'm hoping to have a 7 foot x 4 foot area in my room set up just for my coloring. Fingers crossed 🤞 I can get it set up at some point before my son's move out an on with their Live's!! They are both in there 20's an they will be moving on too bigger an better things soon enough! But your Space is Amazing 🤍💛💚🦋🌻

So they are downstairs right now on my bookshelf in my main office. But once the contractor redoes the closet, there will be shelves in there built into the closet for the books.

Love the new space!! That turn style storage I LOVE!!! I saw it every time I looked up furniture when I was setting up our craft area in our hallway loft area. I am going to get it one day lol!! And THANK YOU!!!! It was driving me crazy what WIP standard for!!! Lol!!! It’s seriously been bugging me for so long! 😂😂😂

Wow! I could only dream of being so organized!! I share my craft room with my daughter's craft table and supplies and her "lego land". LOL 😆 ...maybe one day....☺
Hey lego land would be fun to share with though! It did take quite a bit of work to get here, so I definitely feel blessed to have a dedicated space.

Amazing room! You hove done such a great job organizing it. I love your furniture and lot of free space. My room is so full of staff from different hobbies and so messy! Hopefully will do some re-organizing soon.
A question: where are all the colorbooks?
Right now the books are in the main office downstairs on a bookshelf. Once my contractor redoes the closet, I will have space for the books in there :)

Oh nice! I feel it is nice to have a separate room. I mostly film in this one, because most of the time I'm on my bed, haha. But, I do watercolor and markers in here and I'm trying to do more in the room now.

I've a question where do you keep your books ?
They are in my main office on the floor below on a bookshelf. In my old craft room tour you will see it there. So I just left them there. Once my contractor rebuilds the closet, they will go in there.

Wow you have an amazing art studio, question where do you store all your colouring books?. Are they not in your art studio for easy access?. Thank you for sharing all you lovely supplies. Love the style you have done the room in.
They are downstairs in my main office on the bookshelf. Once the contractor redoes the closet, he's building a bookshelf unit inside for all of my books. They are still easy to access, because they're in between my two favorite coloring spots - my bedroom which is on the first floor, and my art studio.
You have a lovely studio! Very calm environment. I'm looking for a storage for my copics like yours, I can't find anywhere anything similar and I'm going crazy. Do you have a link for that?
Yes! So it is this one guy that makes these by hand on Etsy: tidd.ly/3he8XE3. I have the large unit, and that one may not be up (he doesn't leave those in stock often), but you can message him, asking when he will have more. The medium unit is usually in stock.

Love it!!! It is like heaven!! Got me motivated....however I now have an army of rolling carts so I can color where ever I feel like...it is so cold mainly in the bedroom. I love all the organization. The first 3 months of lockdown I took everything out of my studio and purged and labeled every flipping thing I could get my hands on!! Since I work at a bead store and that is one of my obsessions it was everyday...all day. Do you have a tutorial on skin using prism's?? Thank you for sharing you space:)
I don't know if I have a tutorial outright, but I've colored quite a few pages on camera using my combo. I'd have to look into making one specific to it - it is on the list!
"Army of rolling carts" I love that 🤣🤣🤣 I have just 1 lonesome one that chills behind me in my tiny as heck bedroom that I've somehow managed to turn a corner into a "mini" art studio space

Great tour. I bought a few rustic metal utensil caddies myself for pencils and liners. They work wonderfully. Where did you find the farmhouse one? I look forward to getting my own studio organized and looking nice.
The farmhouse one is from Hobby Lobby. Just a utensil organizer they had on sale.

Right now they are on a bookshelf that is in my downstairs office. I keep them there so I can have it in between my art studio and room where I color lol

Oooh good question. The coloring books are down in my main office (if you look at my old craft room tour you'll see the bookshelf). They are just staying in there since I bought the bookshelf for that.

Wow, pretty room. But you are going to struggle without shelves in the closet when you fill all your cases. Shelves in there will make so much more sense as your cupboards are full already. Big question. Where are your books?
I should say that my room is tiny and stuffed. My dream is more shelves but I will have to knock a fireplace out and brick the chimney up to achieve it so I don't know if it will happen.
Yes I mentioned in the video my contractor is redoing the closet to create shelves and then my books will actually go in there. Right now they're on the bookshelf in my main office
@@ColorfullyOptimistic I heard the bit about getting shelves in but missed the bit about books. Sorry. I am jealous, it's so tidy. My tiny space is also my home office for work. It's just not big enough. Fortunately I also have a small warehouse and office so when I go stir crazy in my little room I can escape. But it's cold there at present so I'm trying to work from home as much as I can.
@@suewilkinson910 ah yea. Since our basement is done now I was able to separate my work space from art space. It's nice they don't meddle.

Not at the moment. We are working on building shelving into the closet. They will go in there soon.
