    Hello, i am curious how does this type of irigation affects the soil Ph and the salt level, doesn-t the upflow of water brings the salt closer to the surface?

    So how're you supposed to remove the line post season so you can disk and rip the earth for next season. My family changes the direction we rip (with the rows, across the rows, and diagonal) every year so there's no solid patches of earth, like you'd get only going a single direction every year, that inhibit the corns roots.

      Michael W the line is buried about 30” down so the disk wouldn’t hit the lines at all

      And if you use a ripper, the deepest I’ve ever seen a ripper go is 18”

      @@roundprairiedairy7006 A ripper can go as deep as its designed to go , as long as you engineer the tool to cope and you have enough power to pull
