When I visited England back in 1984 , My cousins brother in law was from Wales and he wanted me to take a train trip to Wales and he was going to show me around Wales but my strict Cypriot uncle didn’t want me to go because he wanted to take me strawberry picking and meet another relative , so I didn’t go to make my uncle happy . The guy from Wales was disappointed . I regret not going , even today . I was 21 back then but I am 60 now lol . Thank you for you beautiful video !
Hey guys, we love Tea in Valhalla! It's well worth a visit to the Elan Valley, some beautiful scenery and the visitor centre does some pretty good coffee 😂
The Elan is a gem. I never tire of it wherever I find myself up there. Looks like you guys had fun, which is a given considering the landscape. ATB. Mark
If you ever head back this way, the walk up to drygarn fawr across the moors is spectacular, and as another commenter has said, clywedog and hafren forest is amazing.
The 'mountain' road that goes from the back of the main reservoir all the way to Aberystwyth is an epic drive. It's not too narrow and the scenery is amazing and it feels incredibly remote. I would also recommend exploring around Llyn Clywedog area, that is also overlooked, but very quiet and remote. Slightly further north and Lake Vyrnwy is well worth a visit and the roads off the back of it are very scenic, but very narrow.
Tom you come across as the daftest, smart lad I’ve ever seen and it’s so good haha. Looked a brilliant location though, both of you work so well together! Keep smashing it, now time to watch your tear in a minute video!
I'll take that as a compliment! 😂😂 It was an awesome place, unfortunately there's no where to really park up or camp nearby as the estate doesn't allow overnights. But we'll be sure to head back there!
Great video guys! 😁 Looked a beautiful walk and that dam had Derwent Dam vibes in the Peak District but on a more epic scale. Have a great week. 👍 Tanny.
Ah great video guys!!! Such a lovely walk and what an impress daaaam!! 😂 Looks like such a beautiful area, not somewhere I’ve been before so thank you for sharing! 😃
One of my favourite walks for the views! Glad you enjoyed. Plenty of other walks to do near the reservoirs or up in the hills above. The main part of the valley can be busy in the summer but there are still plenty of places off the beaten track that will be pretty quiet! The visitor centre also does bike hire as well :)
It's absolutely stunning isn't it! For ages we've wanted to go there and we didn't realise just how close it was from us. I think we're going to check out the Stiperstones next! But are there any places you'd recommend?
@@NotAnotherAdventure I'm lucky enough to work at Elan and it really is a fantastic area. Stiperstones and the Long Mynd are pretty good for walking and views as well but it's been a while since i was last up there! :)
Another great video guys. Very well put together and natural on camera. Always make me smile! Have you done the Precipice walk in North Wales? Just a short one, but "stunning"!
I have been going to the Elan Valley for nearly fifty years, told very few people about it and always enjoyed the peace and solitude. Then people like you came along determined to put an end to what those of us in the know have kept secret.
Daaaaaaaaaam! Love this area, really excited for you both and glad you enjoyed itvso much, catch you soon guys, Ceri and Kat ❤ 🎄 🎁 ☕
Damnnnn guys, congrats on hitting the 1000 subs mark! ☕🍺👣🔥🔥

It's never too late! We absolutely love Wales!
Jus found you guys from Tea in Valhalla. We’re from North Wales and we’ve never explored mid wales!! Thanks for showing us this beautiful place. 🍻

It's hard not to have fun when the landscape is as awesome as that! Thanks for taking the time to watch, hope you're well

It's on our list for when we get back!
Oh guys so pleased the dam was on fine form for you and coffee was soon in hand! ❤☕⛰
It really was! We didn't film it unfortunately but on the drive in to the visitors centre we saw and heard the Dam and just went 'woah'

That sounds incredible! We'll have to check it out. We really want to explore more of mid Wales, it seems like it's often overlooked
Good day out for wildlife photography and wild deer
Really good day for it!
Congratulations on 400 subs! Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐
Thank you so much guys! ❤️

Thank you so much! The waterfall was truly epic
@@NotAnotherAdventure sure😁👍
nice one folks....this place has been on my to do list for years....the dam looked well impressive.
Thank you! I think we caught the dam on a good day, usually I don't think the water is cascading down the way it did that day!
Well done you!
You show me parts of Wales I didn't get to see when I visited. Added to my wish list.
Honestly the Elan Valley is an underrated gem. We really want to go back!
I'm off to mid-Wales in September. This place is on my to-do list.
It's so awesome! You'll have such a good time. Mid-Wales is a place we haven't really explored, but we really want to!

Thanks so much Karen! It's well worth a visit if you fancy a day before heading to Snowdonia or other places in Mid Wales!
Wye catchment Karen. Hiked all over it. On my channel if interested.
@@WyeExplorer amazing cheers Mark! 🥰
@@ksgonewild Just throwing it out there Karen. We do what we want at the end of the day. Peace.

Thanks Hiker Biker! We haven't done it before but it sounds awesome! Whereabouts in North Wales is it?
@@NotAnotherAdventure hi there. It’s just outside Dolgellau.
Good exploring
Thank you! Hope you're well
Lovely place, I need to go there! ❤️
Quebec is the same geography-rolling hills. Quebec also gets abundant precipitation year round.
That's really cool! We'd love to check out Quebec at some point!
Did u check out the half built dam while u was there
No we missed it! But we're planning on going back to the Elan Valley to explore more! Where abouts is it?
It’s on the road after the farm

Yes...we hate these doogooders trying to turn Eden into Hell, 😂 full of people, noise and litter.
My reply was hidden by corrupt RUclips censorship.
Unable to reply because RUclips deleted them all! 🙄
Take plenty of food, with you. The visitor centre don’t open to 10 in the morning
Great tip! By the end of the walk we did get a little hungry! 😂
Most beautiful in the world is women and nature
Im sorry if im rude but yn wales its called Elan not with a i if you understand thank you very much your sencerly Pawb
