Love the Elan valley it's a beautiful place. Your right we also love the feeling of driving those exact roads and feeling free in the wilderness, especially in the winter ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Great video thank you /diolch yn fawr. Ps your pronunciation of place names in Wales is very good 👍🏻❤️🙏🏻
@@ontheroadadventure with the log burner going, view to die for in the winter with nobody about we do pinch ourselves now and then. We are like you we love the solitude, stock up on food, fuel and water then go as long as we can on our supplies so we don't have to see anyone 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and always wild camp ❤️🙏🏻
@@ontheroadadventure 3 year's now and we've never been asked to move, we love finding dead end roads on google (no passing traffic) we've found some amazing places in europe using that method to 🤣👍🏻 you could find even better ones on two wheels 👍🏻🤣. Also park 4 night app is great. We love winter van life in the UK as we literally park wherever we like, seafront, mountain 🤣😁 and our motto is we leave no trace it's written on the van 🤣. There are a lot of van life channels moaning about overnight parking signs going up everywhere and how difficult it is for vans to stay overnight 🙈 🤣 they forget we all have the lawful right to roam 👍🏻🤣. We love the way we live total freedom out of the matrix as much as possible 👍🏻, sending love, peace and good energy ❤️🙏🏻
@@ontheroadadventure we're staying at Elan Oaks, close to the visitor centre. I've been there a couple of times on my bike, but my wife and dog are coming this time.
Morning guys. As you can see I followed the link 🤣 I was a lorry driver for a number of years and Wales was a regular haunt. My abiding memory was it rained. Then, when it wasn't raining, it was pouring. And I never felt very welcomed by the locals. All of this is a shame because there is some staggeringly pretty scenery to be enjoyed in the land of sheep and rain. How do you get on with finding somewhere to stay? Do you find a place the night before or maybe well in advance? I've never used air bee and bee. Is it any good?
Yes it does tend to rain allot in wales! We use apps on the phone like air BnB or booking . Com to find our location. We will usually ride until about 4pm a then decide roughly where we would like to find accommodation and see what’s available. Always works out
That Triumph Tiger sounds great!
I thought the same. 👍🏻
The quickshifter noise on the tiger is addictive - lovely echoing off the elan valley!
sounds great!@@ontheroadadventure
Excellent noise isn’t it!
Another great video chaps
We thank you ☺️

We think it must be really cosy in a van travelling around these types of places, we love the feeling of isolation and peace

Beautiful part of the country
sooo much to explore! Can't wait to get back on the road and go for our next trip!
I love the Elan Valley. Im going there in a few weeks, but in my campervan.
Elan valley is a stunning area. Which camp site will you use? The devils staircase area is amazing too but not ideal for your van I suspect
