Everyone says this but you can still hear moments of his falsetto even on Burn, Burn. And that "douche" (which you misspelled) is an extremely talented singer/songwriter who helps charities and helps other artists such as Kelly Clarkson, stupid Avril, and David Cook write their little pop hits. He is a decent human being.

To me it actually sounds more like he's having more trouble with just the high notes in his regular range. But I miss it too. I don't think the riffs that steve writes are edgy enough to bring the edge out in Maida that he displayed in their first few albums. And I think its Steve just as much as Bob, because Raine's SOLO album is fantastic, and there is definitely some weird falssetto on there, which he did PERFECLTY live. But Burn Burn and Healthy were both kinda flops, IMO.
mike turner>steve mazur any and every day of the week. as far as i'm considered OLP died when he left. now they're just something completely different, not that that's necessarily a bad thing.
