Cape Cod Canal Striper Fishing: CRAZY Striper Blitz

I had a good feeling when I set out pre-dawn for a full day of fishing at the Cape Cod Canal on September 28, 2023. I opted for a "late" 4:30am arrival at the Canal because I planned to fish until sunset. As I was walking out on the East End, Cape side jetty I could hear tail slapping and fish breaking on the beach side of the jetty... That was a sign - from my first cast until sunset it was a wild adventure. The morning was the focus of last week's video, "Cape Cod Canal Striper Fishing: Seal Steal & Chain Catch!" lol u held the rod that high riding that bike? in case u hit a short bridge might damage it. or no?

I have my rod holders mounted on the back of the rear basket. With 11’ rods you do have to watch out for overhanging branches - there are a few places along the Canal on either side where you can have issues but the bridges are plenty high…
