Snow white, sleeping beauty, cinderella etc in all these stories the prince is shown enchanting. But i think these girls had to go through some tough times. She probably did die from one of those illnesses or something similar. All because her 'husband' was parading her around England without any form of vaccination. Let's remember that vaccines weren't a fact yet until years later, 1952? She could have lived well into her 40s or 50s and died of natural causes back in her homeland. It's crazy how history was rewritten to 'sanitize' it for the children. While the rest of us now know better.

You can look up the poor conditions of early nursing and wet nursing. Breastmilk was a commodity that many newborns did not have.
