Sekagya Yahaya Hills (Kagali III) is a PhD Fellow with Mbarara University of Science and Technology, a Traditional Chief in Buganda Kingdom, Deputy Premier Namuyonjo Chiefdom, and a researcher in African Spirituality, Traditional Medicine, and Healthcare. He is a traditional healer by calling since 1978, Hold a Certificate in Project Planning and Management, a Diploma in Law, a Medical Degree in Dental Surgeon, and a Master of Public Health. Dr. Sekagya is the Director of PROMETRA Uganda (NGO) and founder of Dr. Sekagya Institute of Traditional Medicine. He has served as a Board Member on; the National Drug Authority (NDA) of Uganda, PROMETRA International, the International Indigenous HIV/AIDS Community (IIHAC) based in Canada, Traditional and Modern Health Practitioners against HIV/AIDS (THETA), National Integrated Forum for Traditional Health Practitioners in Uganda (NIF-THP). He is a traditional healthcare spiritualist with a major interest in promoting traditional medicine in its totality. Sekagya’s ORCID ID is 0000-0001-9721-7158
