@RivieraKid69 I completely agree. I watch a lot of Garath. It's quite shocking how much a lot of this stuff costs. You can definitely cook fresh and wholesome food for the same price or even less. Batch cooking is also a great idea of on a budget or time poor. 🙂

Made something like this last week out of spare parts -- Dr. Frankenstein. I had frozen hash browns patties and sausage patties, so I put them together in the toaster oven, then added grated cheese and a fried egg on top instead of the second hash brown. A little salsa, too. Not bad, the sausage was a little tough but that was probably my fault for trying to match the cooking times of the meat and potatoes. Egg yolk and salsa added some juice. Enchilada sauce might be worth a try -- I'll probably go that way next.
Happy birthday wishes, pants and socks, join the club but they are needed. Especially the pants if you keep eating crap like that!. TGI should be STB (straight to bin). Keep the videos coming they brighten the day.
Definitely one to phone the number on the packaging - apparently they'll "cheerfully replace it or refund your money and that's a promise! LOL Hope this time you register your scales with Salter to take advantage of the 15 year guarantee :)
Thanks for your usual good job. Firstly when you asked how many times had you said buns, did you mean in the video or just generally? Secondly you didn't need to say a word after you bit into the burger, your head started saying no before you said it. Your visual clues are classic.😂
Reminds me of what my nanna used to make us as kids, a birdseye beef burger in between 2 tatie waffles and q cheese slice stuck in there, with a side of kwik save beans lol
The weight on the box will be the weight of the frozen burgers, Gareth. 170g x 2 will be the target weight for the burgers, but each burger will differ in weight after production, a bit more potato in one, a bit less meat in 'tuther.
It's like the front except the other way round. 😂😅🤣 Oh you do make me laugh 🤣😅😂. The chicken strips with Carolina Reaper chilli pepper were basically bread and seasoning. These hash brown burgers look like children's plastic foodie toys. I was annoyed at paying £5.50 for two small pieces of wild sockeye salmon today but it seems like a bargain after seeing those. Poor bin. Are you trying to poison it? You are looking so much better. Well done. 👍🙏🏼❤️🍔🤮
Hi Gareth, They would probably be a bit more palatable with salt and pepper, some fried onions and a bit of burger relish. Still wouldn't pay £5.50 though, maybe a couple of quid at the most. Best to buy the fresh burgers in Aldi then buy a pack of burger buns and some frozen hash browns and some proper cheese and make your own.
I have tried several TGI products and to be perfectly honest I can’t recommend any of them. The picture on the packaging always looks very nice and tempting but the products inside just don’t live up to expectations.
Gareth, you really do make me giggle! And your humour is clearly natural and not forced. I laughed so hard that a little bit of *** came out when you were talking about the packaging and that one side of the box was the same but the other way round.😂 Like I say; you're a naturally funny bloke. But I've learned a lot about the food too, and no more processed muck for me. It's good to see that you're back to eating solids again, after your unscheduled bit of pavement butting. Take care big guy, I love your channel more every time a new video comes out. 😊
Going back to your Green Curry review? I bought two Curry's. One Green and one Red. I got them from Lidl for £2:49 each. The Green one was very nice and tasted nice, no different to that from a take-away. Tonight I tried the Red Chicken Curry. Boy was I surprised? It was chocker block full of chicken breast, and I mean chocker block. The taste was great and went down well. But I still can't over the amount of chicken it contained. And not just small chicken cubes. It was full of large cuts of chicken breast. For £2:49? I was well impressed. I might of missed out on this if it weren't for your review of the Green Curry. So thanks m8 👍👍.
Had these at the weekend, thought they were pretty good. Wouldn't rush to have them again, BUT I would recreate them potato waffles, Edam and a decent burger. Might even keep a pack in the freezer for WHENEVER. Dunno what you thought was so terrible, but flavour is relative. Literally fancy having another pack right now.
Thanks for your review as always Gareth! You took one for the team there! Last night we tried the 'TGI Fridays Ultimate Meat Feast Stuffed Base Pizza' from this range in Iceland, absolutely AWFUL, if you're a glutton for punishment you could give it a go. We're not fussy in this house but my god it was disgusting 😂
Ikr, ‘Let’s try it as suggested… nope, ok let’s try just the hash brown… nope, ok then maybe just the… NOPE! Cheese!? BOING! (Gives up)’ You usually try these things only once, at least this way we don’t have to.
Another great video, Gareth! Happy birthday too 😁 I was hoping this'd be something similar to what I bought in the Czech Republic once: a bag of frozen hash brown burgers from a cash & carry called "Macro" - & they were absolutely delicious. You could just have them on a sesame bun with a slice of American cheese & they were so tasty. Hope I can get them here in the UK one day
I'd scratch cook those at home, in fact I'm fairly sure I have in the past as a kitchen experiment. Not a daily driver for sure but no issue with an occasional induldence provided the quality is there.
If you want regular beefburgers, which I think are the best frozen beefburgers, and the closest to homemade, are Tesco's Fire-Pit quarter pounders. You get 6 for £5, but you often have clubcard deals for 2 for £8. £4 for 6 quarter pounders is good value for what I consider the best frozen beefburgers of any supermarket!
Someone at Iceland is about to be sacked...TGI Fridays may sue them too. Have you asked for your £5.50 back plus compensation for time wasted..thanks great review 😂😂

Wow £5.50 for two burgers and my butchers would cost £3.50 for two quarter pounders.

Great that you support your local butchers and not the big store and it's processed packaged foods 👍
