The trace includes compression - the compression from your 1176 as it was set for the trace, right? By turning the compressor module one, it seems like you are adding extra compression, no?
bro did you ever listen back to your recent Monuments mix? you do realize you kill all the drums in your mixes and make them sound like finertips on a snare drum, right?
I kinda agree. I couldn't really get into the new monuments album due to that kick/snare combination.
I imagine George will take this well written critique from such an esteemed engineer to heart and endeavour to give his bloody well best efforts into making Monuments V not suck at drums…
