You got it down to a science now...Great job Great video...Easy Peasy...I use the The Turtle Wax to the Max as my base, wait about 48 hours for full cure, then Hit it with Flex Wax...Turtle Wax Graphene products are awesome...
I'm happy that I've been able to learn HOW to use the Turtle Wax, Hybrid Solutions products to get such results, 3 years of reading the directions, playing and experimenting with them HAVE NOT gone to waste. But I'm even happier that I have the means to share what I've learned.
LOL, I was JUST about to message you that the video was up. Last night, I was SO worn out - I set everything up on RUclips so it would finish and post automatically, then went to bed.
I’ve noticed Using Flex outside on a sunny day still will cause some streaking. I’ve found using the TW hybrid paste wax is fine for outside sunny days. Just FYI Also my car is silver and out of all the TW hybrid products, their graphene paste wax give the best shine since silver is a tough color to make pop.
@@butchc9226 I guess it depends on just how hot the day is ... if it's 75*+ then I can understand. For ME, the Flex Wax is not QUITE as easy or forgiving as the Ceramic Spray, a trade-off I guess, because I think the Flex is slightly better in durability/slickness than the Ceramic. I know that when I did my wife's car in the sun, my "damp" towel was a little more damp than I normally used, and I was A LOT faster with the 'dry wipe.' Maybe that's what made the difference for me? I think we can both agree though, that cool, and in the shade is best.
THANK YOU for that awesome compliment!! That's the reason I started this channel - to pass on what I know. When *I* started detailing in the dark ages (1980's), Base-Coat/Clear Coat paints were just being introduced, and the owner of the shop I "learned" from, was stuck in his mindset of single-stage paint, He refused to see that there are dramatic differences in the ways each type is cared for. He INSISTED that you ALWAYS start with a heavy compound for ANY paint. I quickly learned (from him burning THROUGH a few new cars' paint) that he was wrong. But unfortunately, there was NO OTHER option for me to learn the RIGHT way of doing things - no such thing as the internet yet. I quit that shop and set out on my own to learn how to do it right. After many years and a LOT of trial and a LOT of errors, I finally got somewhat of a clue. Then the internet came along and I started learning things I didn't know that I didn't know. I didn't want people that are just now beginning to develop an interest in detailing to go through what I did, and retirement (+RUclips) gave me the perfect opportunity to pass on what I've learned (and am STILL learning).
Define what you mean by "buffed out." If you mean paint correction of polishing, that should have already been done. Applying the Ceramic is the Last Step. If you mean buffing out the Ceramic, I demonstrated how to remove it in the video.
This guy knows how to make a video! Straight to the point, no rambling! And informative.🎉🎉🎉
Thank you

Thanks a lot for the video! Really helpful!

I’ll try that with TW Seal n’ Shine, which streaks like there’s no tomorrow.
Can't hurt

Really? I did my wife's Escape (red-ish) in the sun, and it didn't streak for me. Maybe you're using JUST A TOUCH too much, but not by much.
@@DetailedbyDonit could too much. But on a sunny hot day it drys faster. But the paste wax can sit on longer imo

If you're not a teacher already, you should be.

The Hybrid Ceramic is STILL a very relevant product.
I have to agree. The Challenger 'retaught' me how well it works.
Can it be buffed out⁉️🤔
I don't understand your question?

Technique, technique, technique...
