Hi. I am a junior in high school and want to become a surgeon. I just wanted to say that since I found your videos,it has further pushed me to want to become a surgeon. Your videos give me an insight of what a medical student goes through. It also shows me that no matter how hard times may get that I still have this drive and this desire to become a surgeon. I LOVE cleaning as a study break! I find it helps me keep the productive juices flowing, it’s so much easier to hop back to studying after cleaning than if I was laying in bed!

Definately do Mugs find the prefect style mugs for us! I had one saying "bossing it" it broke a while ago. I could use a "south herd" mug, plus coffee right? So important.

It would be really great if you made video of what you're eating in one whole day, how much you're in the gym and how do you plan your workouts? Because I feel like it's really important not only for our health but also for energy when you're studying and focusing.
My diet is so poor that I'm constantly sleepy and not functioning very well, and on the other hand I have no time and motivation to workout.

Is your school pass/fail? If so, then how much does med school GPA matter? I've always been curious about this!! love your videos! :D
so I don't go to her school but I'm an OMS-1, there's definitely mixed reviews on how much med school GPA matters! The majority of people say it doesn't really matter as long as you pass, residencies look at board scores and recommendations more. But if you want to go into a super competitive specialty, having a high GPA might help! It all really just depends on that specific residency director.
I'm a second year medical student and I'm losing motivation. Can you guys please motivate me? I was ok till the classes but now we have exams for months. I just cant deal with this. I don't enjoy studying for exams. I wanna be anywhere but here on my study desk. And I'm screwing up all my exams after studying so so so damn hard for the entire year. I screwed my last year's finals because I lost motivation. I don't want this to happen this year. Right now we have our preboards and I need to get really pumped for practical exams and boards. Help me! Motivate me!

The lectures that aren’t mandatory, does anyone go? Are there some students that attend them all?
there probably are considering the fact that everyone learns differently, apparently Rachel can learn just by watching the videos at home, but some students may need to hear the professor talking and be in that environment with limited distractions, thats what i would think.

Nope! It's fine. It's just our body. We are all desensitized and it's strictly for learning purposes.
