1:11 idk why but I loved this part, I always get a bit mild disturbed yet emotional when that beautiful singing lament turns into a somewhat more agonized tone when you hear that slight break in her singing. It really adds to the darker atmosphere of the track imo
The only other channel I know of that individually uploaded the full OST was deleted unfortunately. I thought I'd do it myself since it was one of the few parts of the game that I actually liked.
@@ElliotRodgerGod Yes they did stop, there is no more Siren games after Blood Curse, I’m only talking about the Siren series. Its a shame it stopped at Blood Curse because it’s one of the scariest games I’ve ever played. I have so much nostalgia from it.

Thanks so much for uploading this soundtrack, you have no idea how helpful it is to me. This game, despite being an honestly mediocre, and comparably bad game in a series of masterpieces, is so truly inspiring to me. The atmosphere, world building, and soundtrack is truly unique, and otherworldly. I love it so much. It's what inspired my current game project, and many others. I just hope that one day, my project(s) will ever be able to be as inspiring, and loved by others, as Siren was to me. It's my #1 dream to inspire others, because throughout so many years of my life, I've been so inspired by so many things. So thank you again for giving me an opportunity to re-experience the songs I once heard when I was much much younger, and able to enjoy and gain inspiration from once again. ♥
@@ElliotRodgerGod Same. I discovered Siren Blood Curse when I was in middle school thanks to Playstation Home. It was so scary to play that special part of the hospital in the game with all those Nurses walking around, but I really loved it. When I grew up I remembered it and I watched the full walkthrough from an Italian channel. I really, really loved it. And also, discovered the other versions.
@@ElliotRodgerGod I find that it does an effective job of scaring the crap out of me. Maybe because it's filled with what scares me, so it could very much be that. Wish it had more monsters other than the shibito and the flying ones, for the most part though.
@@ElliotRodgerGod I love the 2nd in the series, but fuck the first honestly lmao, with the whole "meant to be completed by everyone globally working together" design principle, nightmarish difficulty to beat yourself

Another thing I don’t get is why is this game so expensive to buy now??? I tried looking for it online but there are only a few, maybe a handful of copies being sold on eBay but they are all expensive. Im assuming its because the game must have been rare and only a limited amount of copies must have been made. I did play the game and complete it way back in 2009 but I felt like wanting to play it again,l now, however never realised it would have been such an effort today trying to acquire it.
The game was also released as Siren: Blood Curse, and is generally cheaper than the "New Translation" variant. I suggest looking for both versions if you want to increase your chances of finding a reasonably priced copy.
@@phantomthisguy9228 I may be wrong but I had no idea or never even heard of ‘New Translation’ up until now because Im pretty sure this video was titled ‘Siren Blood Curse’ initially. Nope, these uploads have always been titled 'New Translation' because that's the official name of the soundtrack. In Japan the game was released as 'Siren: New Translation' and for some reason they changed the Western name to be different and worse.
I took 6 tabs of ls d on the 26th of October. I went thru this game blindly on it. I cannot leave this town.. and these damn shibito are all over the damn place. For some reason i belong there. Here. I don't play this game, but what a powerful track. I like listening to it whenever I'm depressed or working on a deep and dark drawing.
imagine hearing this sound at night in the woods while you sleep in your tent.
Never thought someone would upload this in 2021, let alone remember the game.

So hauntingly beautiful
Probably my favorite track in the game. Its on par with the best music from Siren 2.

It's been years since last time I heard something this good
I’m so glad this game is still getting recognized. Siren Blood Curse is too good of a game to be forgotten.
I disagree. Its a mediocre game in its own right, and in comparison to the other games in the series its downright bad.

I can't find a game scary if enemies can easily be defeated through stun-locking, especially if they also hilariously ragdoll upon death.

Blood Curse isn't cheaper, at least not in the UK. BC copies here cost around £40 - £60, I imported a copy of New Translation for only £20.
