Thank you to all those who watched, commented, and/or followed because of Part 1. You are the reason I am back. Hope you enjoy and find value in Part 2 🙂
This is why ads are the scariest things in our society today. They lie and say “you need this” and give you seemingly logical reasons, but really they appeal emotionally and make it hard to think critically about their arguments about the world. Fantastic analysis - I hope you keep doing more
Just got this video as a random recommendation from RUclips with supposedly only 7 views. Very good job! I'm subscribed now and am checking out your earlier uploads as I can! Keep up the great work!
Excellent presentation. Thanks, Prof. As a retired Ad Marketing Consultant - I can say that as old-as-the-hills the Ads may be - their underlying premise is almost eternal. For another presentation you might examine how A "thing" is sold by selling "something else". For example: in about 1986 BMW moved away from "selling cars" to "presenting a Life Style". While everyone else was selling a hot, steel box - BMW offered: "Joy".
@@frizzyrascal1493 So you were the one non-student who followed me for my writing videos 😆 Definitely will make more of those in the future as well. I've got a few movies in mind to look at...
Yes, I think there are a couple of directions one could go with that. I had considered discussing a particular angle there, but felt the analysis might start to get a bit too PG-13. Feel free to add your own interpretation in the comments.
