How about Malta, Gibraltar, Croatia, Serbia, the Baltic--Riga, Tallinn,Sweden. Visby, Gothenburg? The more I travel, the more I realize how little of the world I have actually seen. And, sadly, there is a lot we can't see from our cruise adventures.
Hey Don, 2 years ago we did a wonderful Baltic Sea cruise on RC. It was out of Copenhagen and went to Aarhus in Denmark, Sweden Finland, Poland, Lithiwania, Latvia and Estonia. Very nice 11 night cruise. Only did not do St. Peterssburg due to war. Polamd and Lithuwania were subbed in.
The Baltic was one of our most memorable cruises. St. Petersburg was amazing! But with the current Russia situation, St. Petersburg has been removed as a stop. There are a lot of other beautiful ports in the Baltic to visit.
A 17 night cruise from Hawaii to French Polynesia and Samoa, finishing in New Zealand on the Royal Princess. Also Holland America has a 35 night cruise stopping in many different South Pacific islands. Oceania has the best itinerary. I cruised there back in 2009 and it was stunning.
We would Love to see a transatlantic to Fiji and Tahiti. One of our bucket List destinations is Bora Bora. That would be awesome, we've only seen it on a couple videos. That would be Amazing.
Hi Don a clarification on Cape Horn to Antartica. You actually would fly Buenos Aires to Usaiha (most southern town) board the boat and cross Drakes Passage (roughest part) to Antarctica and back the same way. Cape Horn is not seen. Just correcting the geography of your comments.
We've done ocean cruises to every continent including Antarctica and realised we wanted to see more counties. We been doing some river cruises with Viking to Vietnam/Cambodia and Egypt. This year we did an escorted tour to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. It was amazing! Sometimes cruising isn't the best way to see a country.
One of the best cruises I did recently India to Singapore which included Viet Nam and Thailand with stops in between Need shots and visa’s hope you can go and enjoy the sites
While I would be partial to cruises to Antarctica, Africa, the Baltic, French Polynesia, Easter Island, what about doing a nice river cruise like Amsterdam to Budapest or something other other than just a Rhine River cruise.
Re Queensland there’s a least a few Princess Cruises leaving from Sydney and Brisbane right through to mid 2026.These cruises are 8 to 10 days going from the bottom to the top of QLD. This cruise goes from sub tropical to full on tropical and the beautiful Great Barrier Reef.
Hi Don - here are few options (some we did and some are on our bucket list). - Hawai - Panama canal (fantastic) -Antartica with Cap Horn (I believe Celebrity goes with a departure fromBuenos Aires) - South America on the West side (Perou with Machu Pichu and Chili …maybe Easter Island if they stop there) - Dubai and Abu Dhabi (United Emirats Arab) …we did it on MSC World Europa - NCL from Singapour to Mauritius (with Seychelles and Maldives, Madagascar and Reunion) …you can then add a flight to Africa and do a safari (we went to Kapama Game Reserve which is in Kruger Park). BTW, the safari we did (on land from Cape Town to Kruger) was our best trip ever. - NCL also have nice itineraries on West side of Africa, up to Senegal - Baltic sea (without Russia of course); Denmark, Sweden, north of Germany, Finland, Estonia, Lithuana, and few stop in Poland) - Iceland and Greenland of course (i believe Royal Caribbean offert both in the same cruise with 4 stop in Iceland and 3 in Greenland) - a bit far but very nice … New Caledonia, Vanuatu, …even Bali would be nice You now have a lot of options. I never stop looking for nice places to visit myself. Love cruising! Cheers Johanne (and Sylvain) from Montreal, Quebec
Check out the Iceland repositioning cruise. Leave out of New York, goes up the canadian coast to greenland than to iceland. You can book the second leg that returns to Boston. This takes place in August 2024
This would be different but we just returned from a Nile Cruise. It was a two week vacation and we felt very safe the entire time. The US State Dept does have a level 3 travel warning for Egypt but as I said we had no problems. Our tour group had armed escorts, tourist police, on our excursions and we encounter no problems. Our tour guide asked that we let family and friends know that it is safe to travel to Egypt. We even took 3 internal flights on Egypt Air and everything went extremely well. The only issue we had were the triple digit temperatures. The hotel was. 5 star and beautiful. Also the Miriam was considered to be a 5 star accommodation. That was our cruise ship. I would go before June if I ever went back. Beautiful country and very friendly people. With 40% inflation they can really use the business.
So many destinations to choose from…..I don’t think you can pick a bad one. Any day on a cruise ship is a good one. Would love to go to Iceland & Greenland so that would be amazing. Also amazing would be a cruise to see the Northern Lights.
Did Cape Horne with the Island Princess. We were very lucky. Water was smooth like glass. Captain told us we were very fortunate to have such calm waters. It usually never like that. Loved the 60 day cruise around South America.
there are several cruises going to West Africa, the MIddle East (Dubai, Qatar, UAE), the Baltics, French Polynesia, SE Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia)
French Polynesia islands were on our bucket list and just both retired so fortunate to have booked for March 2025, very few reviews so would be grateful for any comments if you’ve been there 😊
Fiji, go to Fiji! We went last October and took 7 nights Captain Cook cruise, it was fabulous! We sailed on Reef Endeavor, but now she is retired and they have MS Caledonian Sky, more specious cabins, less people on board.🥥🌴🚢💦
How about a cruise to Hawaii and show the excursions on the islands such as for example Polynesia Cultural Center etc. Princess has a Hawaiian cruise in December of 2025 and that would possibly be a neat one to show because you could show the ship all decorated up for Christmas , Hawaiian themed activities on board, and the Hawaiian islands you visited.
Please come to Cambodia! Check out news stories about cruise lines adding it to their itinerary. Or you can do a Mekong River cruise that would include Angkor Wat.
@@candacedolan4857 It was certainly a hotspot during that time. I understand choosing not to come. On the other hand, I know people who have found healing and peace in their hearts after coming back. Just a thought.
Iceland, greenland sound beautiful. I love seeing new far off places. Having an opportunity to travel for work is an amazing experience. Love that your getting to share your adventures.
Visas or not, why not go from Singapore to Japan, covering Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan. Would certainly go to South Africa and Antarctica, ....maybe try the South Pacific Cruises to Bora Bora, Tahiti...beautiful there. What about Iceland or Greenland? Have you been to the Canary Islands? You would love Egypt and Israel (once things die down there). The world is a fascinating place...hope you get to see it all personally. Cheers, Don.
I'm sailing on a 2 week cruise this year, french polynesia and Hawaii. It's definitely a bucket list cruise. Love to see highlights and recommendations for it. I did iceland last year on a transatlantic cruise, and it was beautiful.
French-Polynesia - paradise islands in South-Pacific (I live there) - Moorea, Bora Bora, Fakarava, Huahine, Tahiti etc. Greetings from Moorea (sister island of Tahiti) in French-Polynesia 🌴 🏖 😎 🇵🇫 🇫🇷 🇪🇺
I can't tell you where to go for your next cruise but my wife is from the Philippines so we might take a cruise from there sometime. There's lots of beautiful parts of the country to see even where cruise lines don't go.
I'd also like to see more of the actual Vlogs from your trips! You used to do those more often when your channel was starting out, it would be nice to bring those back, even if it's on the Just Don channel.
We are going on a World Cruise in 2025. This will give us a chance to see many countries. Two days after the World one we hop on another ship to do north, Netherlands, England and Belgium. Then after that we want to do a 22 day cruise around Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Belgium and etc. World Cruise does top of Africa, South America, Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Polynesian Islands and tip of Antarctica. We are excited.
We did Anarticia over Christmas and New Years last year. NCL. Not am expedition cruise but was awesome. Great ports coming and going as well. We sailed to S Africa in March. My favorite cruise of all. We are getting ready for Greenland and Iceland next month. Keep up the great videos! Keep them coming.
To echo some previous suggestions: Polynesia/South Pacific, Hawai'i. Also Madagascar, Galapagos Islands, Western Arctic and Greenland, Iceland, Canary Islands, Azores, Eastern Mediterranean (Central & Eastern Europe), Bermuda, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia...
hi Don, fellow Canadian here, instead of cruising on water, why not cruise the rails and take the Canadian from Toronto to B.C, or vice versa, or start on the East Coast and work west. I am sure that will make good content for your channel. There are other rall trips on the in Central Canada to the Ice Fields, or other rall trips in BC. Something to think about.
I keep going back to the same port. Not much choices out of Balitmore and i am always happy just to be on a cruise. When hubby retired then maybe go out of a different port to different places
You will go somewhere great for sure! I’m doing the British Isles you and Tony did last year. Go in August, then Sept my summer Alaska trip, and Dec on the Sun Princess to see you! Wish I could do all the ones you do!!
I didn’t hear you mention Canada/New England. I’ve been twice and going again next year. Just because Bar Harbor doesn’t want us, doesn’t mean that other ports don’t. Go in October. That is the best time to go for the foliage and weather. If you’ve already been there, go again - a beautiful and wonderful part of the world and relatively easy to get there.
How about the South Pacific/ Tahiti, Bora Bora, Fiji
My vote is Hawaii and the south pacific.
How about the French Polynesian islands? They are beautiful!
Yep - they are gorgeous. I live there. Greetings from Moorea (sister island of Tahiti) in French-Polynesia 🌴 🏖 😎 🇵🇫 🇫🇷 🇪🇺
I’ve been there on a 14 day cruise. I loved the area.
We are going to French Polynesia in 2026. Really excited.
I agree - French Polynesia
Tahiti for 10 day cruise. We went on the Tahitian Princess some years ago.

Yes, the Baltic Sea is super.
Lots to see in different countries.
I highly recommend that.
We live in the middle of Europe.
Which ever destination you choose, will be amazing, my vote is Polynesia!
I agree.
Iceland would get my vote for you, Don. My own visit there in 2010 all around the island with stops in Akureyri and Reykjavik. Fabulous!
Galapagos Islands!
Hawaii?
@@butchmercer8919no. It's near Ecuador assuming you were asking where Galapagos is or maybe just throwing another one out there.
Galapagos and Machu Pichu was the best cruise tour ever!!!!
Hawaii and South Pacific, both together!!!!

We did an Iceland, Ireland, British Isle cruise last summer. It was fantastic.
You could always do the Hawaiian Islands on Norwegian
Maybe Fiji? A lots of islands to visit, immersive cultural experience, super friendly locals, beautiful corals, crystal clear waters!
South Pacific , French Polynesian, Princess LA to Hawaii
A 17 night cruise from Hawaii to French Polynesia and Samoa, finishing in New Zealand on the Royal Princess. Also Holland America has a 35 night cruise stopping in many different South Pacific islands. Oceania has the best itinerary. I cruised there back in 2009 and it was stunning.
We did a two week Hollander America cruise round trip from Tahiti. I wish Hollander America would offer another one that is just French Polynesian.

West Coast of Africa, Hawaii to Tahiti and Fiji (friendliest people in the world in Fiji), Christmas markets river cruise
Around Australia so you can see the great barrier reef , the Kimberleys, etc

Iceland. Visited in 2017. Crown Princess. Same year found your channel. Would visit again and again. Great country, great people. Beautiful.
Hawaii and the South Pacific would be fun. Iceland and Greenland too. 😁
Antarctica expedition cruise, Hawaii, Polynesia...whatever you choose, enjoy!

Hawaii, French poly, Iceland & Greenland, Africa!
