Great tutorial! I accidentally made my tentacles in the wrong row so only ended up with 7 instead of 8 lol but my daughters still love it.

we will comment from muscle like beasts here 🤣 really your channel is outstanding, Darling and I've been recommended by RUclips so many videos with huge amounts of views on them and they were not even half as good as your content. Why RUclips recommends things that are not even that good but hides excellent content like yours is beyond my comprehension. We have the yarn for this, got it for my daughter because it is chunky and she could see it better when learning. So will give this a try with her. Thank you for sharing 🙏

We are planning to use your video and pattern for reference at our school's crochet club. We are using Easy Yarn and the finished product is really really small. How would I go about adding additional increase rows to increase the size? I think R5: 2sc, 1 in (repeat), R6: 3sc 1 inc, R7 4 sc, 1 inc would work, but then would we need 8 total SC rounds before decreasing? And then again, I am unsure what the decreasing ratio would be. If you could help me with the pattern adjustments I would be forever grateful. Thank you in advance!

Not sure what I am doing wrong - my front loops are forming on the inside so then i have to turn it inside out? Also - the loops are not even all around - they are not forming circle?

Used a different type of yarn Stich Studio by Nicole in Sweet Puff-it has color variations of turquoise, gray & white. Pausing throughout the video to keep up as I am still learning; I found your way of doing the back loop interesting and learned a different way of doing it. My last stitches did not look like yours and maybe its me still learning how to work the yarn tension but when I was creating the tentacles, it was a bit hard for my hook to go thru. I also made a mistake and counted 3 stitches in between each tentacle 🤦‍♀so I ended up squeezing the last two by adding them to empty spaces. Overall, your video was very easy to follow along! Thank you and if you have any pointers on tension. I'd appreciate it!

Thanks for sharing your experience sweetheart. It is a matter of practice with yarn tension. I created this video here with some tips to improve crochet tensions ruclips.net/video/IcIxV6G9Z50/видео.htmlsi=7FZdYXWVJOPVkH1A
But practice makes perfect 🤣 Don't give up, you will get there!

These are so cute! What is the size on the yarn. I can't really tell on from the screen, but it looks like the darker yarn is maybe a size 6 bulky and the lighter one maybe super bulky?

Oh no, darling! Everyone has their own pace! I usually don't even like to write the amount of time it takes to crochet one amigurumi in my written patterns, because I am always afraid it might discourage some people. You have your own way of doing things! The important thing here is that you managed to crochet it, and that's a reason to celebrate! 😘

@Crocheniacs thanks for that reply! I also used non fluffy yarn, so 3mm cotton. I have been crocheing for a while now and usually i dont pay attention to my speed, but i have to crochet lots of little critters for thr children i teach. They saw me crochet and now all want something lol
