Sid has seen such a transition in the game over the span of his career. His answer to the last question about player confusion is such a spot on response. When he joined the league people were still able to headhunt and you still had enforcement, now players have to think and second guessing plays a role in their decisions on the ice. The tables have turned quite a bit.

What? All these younger high skill players are so obviously influenced by Crosby, from wanting to be him when they were younger, that you could say he's one of the top few most influential players in history. There is a very clear delineation from before Crosby, Crosby, and then the players after him all incorporating certain things in their playing and skating that they obviously got from him. Then there's the rings. No matter what, Crosby is solidified in the highest tier of players with only a few other names - it's starting to look like Mcdavid may not have a chance to catch him in overall greatness.
