I remember when we went to the same rehabilitation clinic, absolutely madness when she threw a big Mac at a nurse, because it had pickles on it.
I was in the same nursing home as her. During our free time us old folks would gather to hear her sing. She sounded just as great as she does in this video.
I was in the newborn unit with this girl. All of us newborns tuned our crying to hers. She was incredible.

I just keep getting blown away seeing people born relatively recently in the grand scheme of things who can still keep these classic forms of art alive. She’s a brilliant scat singer and that’s a skill I didn’t even know people still had nowadays!

Many of the melodic ideas found in that recording are very similar to the ones used in Véronica Swift's performance here. Take a listen, I think you'll be able to hear it too.
