10:30 what is your experience people about body scan ?? what if there a tightness and your legs just would like to be outstretched at this moment, but somehow we train our body to sit upstraight with crossed legs - if we will just ask are we comfortable we won't go further out of the comfort zone
Please Ajahn...I need yr guidance.🙏 I ve an eating disorder. I tend to overeat when I feel sad, depressed and unhappy. This lockdown caused more row between myself and my husband. When I feel sad, I overeat and threw up afterwards. Please teach me on how to overcome this. Mindfulness, how to chanel one's emotion to something other than food! I can't control my relationship with my husband but I want to control my eating behaviour..my inner Demon. I feel sad when I lose control of my eating habits. 😭😭😭😭
I’m sorry for your condition. Please don’t feel sad, I know a lot of people who go through this. We shouldn’t try to control anything. Keep your mind occupied with positive things and listen to the dharma. Have you read his book “opening the door of your heart”? It’s a lovely peaceful read.
@@chloen3020 I subscribed to his channel today. Listened to his dharma on eating mindfulness as well as other Thai dharma. This really helped. I have been good for one week so far, not overeating. It's a good baby step for me. Thank u
@@Doorknobperson2 I ll look for this book to read. Thank u for the recommendation. I also tried exercising when I feel sad. I do 1-2hrs of exercise a day now, this really help me not to think of food all the time. My husband was feeling depressed in 8 wk lockdown so we argued a lot then. Now he has been back at work for 2 wks, everyone s happier now. We tolerate each other's faults more. Plus I also do praying and meditation daily. This helps me tremendously.🙏🙏
who recognize and feel an emptiness, master? who think on this? conception of an emptiness against other conceptions means, that still exist the duality or an inner commentator "I". for an empty mind an emptiness dont exist. and no where to find "I". an emptiness is the result of an enlightenment, but not the purpose of meditation.
