TimeUSB is my new favorite budget battery. I tore down the 100Ah Pro, and it's impressive. BTW I found Gorilla white 100% Silicone Sealant to be a good option for sealing these lids back up.
Timeusb 12V (12.8V) 200Ah 200BMS LiFePO4 Plus ...mine will arrive here today! yeehaw! it was 499.99 plus with a 25 dollar first time buyer discount code ...so 474.99 cant beat it and from all the videos iv been watching its very well built .....my concern is how long will it last China products are not the best for lasting .....we will see
Seeing as how pretty much all of these batteries are made in China, I think you're painting with too broad a brush to criticize Chinese products so casually. Half the parts in your car probably come from China and they work just fine I bet. What you should be considering is how your grand children will use this battery since an 8000 daily cycle life means this battery will be pumping out the juice for 23 years.
When Will Prowse tore apart a TimeUSB, it had used cells inside. At first thought, I'd be horrified as a buyer to find used cells on a new battery pack, but I guess it's nice to see batteries that had a previous life be put to new uses. If were honest, most of us will never get anywhere near the end-of-life cycle count with modern LFP packs, so used cells isn't necessarily a bad thing...
I agree with you; every time I explain these batteries to my friends, I tell them these things (If treated appropriately) will outlast me. Thank you very much for watching and commenting. I don't get very many women waiting my content 🙂
Good review video and looks like a good battery. I am a bit surprised that the aluminum bus bars are laser welded to the lithium cells. Since these cells have threaded holes, it would have been easier to use a screw? or is the reason for this that the cells are used cells (not new)?
I am confused for “storage” at 50. What if I use it but low amounts! Not stored but not doing deep discharges or rarely? I am using all victron on a 400 ah rack.
No concern for you, you are using them even a little is great. By "Sorage" I'm talking no reaction happening inside the cells. This is when having a 50% SOC is ideal.
Nice video, and I like your sense of humor What is your setup to measure the capacity? I see you have a meter, a shunt, an inverter....but you said you need to adjust the current to be right at 40Ah. What is the load, and how do you adjust it? Also, any review of their 220Ah metal case battery? Thanks
So regarding last tidbit about battery storage...does the same go for Li-ion? Do I need to worry about it if I'm using batteries daily but they only drain down around 7-10ahs a day cause it recharges back to 100 during afternoon?
I just found your channel. I see that timeusb has cheaper batteries in slightly smaller capacities than standard and are not PRO labelled. I wonder if these are not quite as good quality B cells or something that is lower quality than the battery you tested

This battery is a junk! This is what happens now time.. RUclipsrs got free stuff and making this kind reviews... Very sad...
@@leokolev I've been using 8 of these for over a year now and they have performed perfectly.
@@leokolev They have good and bad batteries by the look of things. This one looks good, the one reviewed by Will Prowse was bad.
My thumbs-up has appeared so you got it buddy
There's so many budget batteries out there, good to know the ones that are worth $.
I was pleasantly surprised
Nice video! Does the "PRO" version of this battery have Low Temp charge protection?
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think so.
This was the plus model, and it did not have it.

No, I don't think the reason is because they are used cells. It's probably because it's an easier and faster manufacturing process for them.

Thank you, I'm using this to measure the capacity. amzn.to/3Hf5tO4
I have yet to see a review of their 220Ah battery.
@@Roll2Videos Nice, thanks.....what do you use as the load? How do you adjust that load from 47A to 40A?
@@xbleriot In this test, I think I used some incandescent light bulbs.

No, You should be fine
@@Roll2Videos thx boss👍✌️
@@Roll2Videos it's actually 7-10% of 348ahs but anyway that's most likely even better

It is possible that it the case, They also have a second-hand section. I'm wondering what that would be 🤔
now.. are they used cells?
Everything I saw suggested to me they are brand new grade A cells.
@@Roll2Videos thank you!
