Potomac is always a hair outta square! The fashion, the hair and the home decor is always off for at least one cast member every season.
Gizelle went for quantity over quality. She just wanted a BIG house, so that's why she brought that fixer-upper, but i don't think she makes enough money to "fix it up" how she really wants too. Hell she shoulda just brought a REALLY nice townhome/condo or just smaller house, that's completely done & she she could afford

Why is the microwave not built into the cabinetry? There are first time apartments with better fixtures. Gizelle always tries to make her stuff seem bigger/better than what it really is, which is basic.

People are speaking as if it's totally terrible but it looks nice on a basic level. You're right. She spent a lot of time and money renovating that house So I expected it to look a whole lot more.
She bought the home for almost a million dollars, that kitchen looks too basic to be in a home of that level of prestige. However, it is a nice kitchen but it looks like it belongs in that house Robyn renovated.

It's the plastic accents on the white appliances that date the kitchen. Choosing white appliances with chrome/brass accents or a modern white fridge without handles would look sleek.

The kitchen isn’t my taste, but it also isn’t my house or my money. Everyone is talking about the appliances are white, but maybe she didn’t want stainless steel like 95% of the people in the world. I have black stainless steel appliances and while it looks nice, I always have to make sure it’s immaculate.
