Great Questions & Answers Definitely some figures & diagrams would help Also the most CLI commands on the whiteboard during interview process would be great Thank you for the support
GHOST, The intention is to help you prepare for an interview of details you should know already. And Laura actually suggests to look up a diagram and practice drawing. Good luck with Your interview. 😊
"every company wants a person who is open for disagreements" LOL The company I worked for (IBM -> Kyndryl) wanted to have droids. Customer satisfaction was that Level One (customer employee) asked us (Level Two) for some completely idiotic thing, that they do not understand, and you do something, without asking questions, because you can not want to upset the customer, and hope it is what they asked. Or that official language was supposed to be english but they ask in german, and you figure it out. And then it is your fault. And if you disagree, you are gone. Good listener meant that you do not disagree, do not talk, just accept. Open comunicator? Not even in the team, as some people are malicios.
Find your block size by converting the relevant octet to binary (248 = 11111000) the last ON bit is your block size, in this case 8. Subtract 2 for network and broadcast addresses which leaves 6.
*How can a ipconfig/ifconfig command modify dhcp and dns, this is wrong. *a router cannot connect to the Internet, thats the work of the modem(modulator /demodulator) with converts analog signal to digital. -senior Linux engineer
Most of these questions are on the level of a Jr. Engineer. If you will have a Mid or Senior level interview They will expect you to know these question already, and will ask you more enhanced or detailed questions. Be careful... Good luck...

Can you give a tutorial on how to find how many hosts are addressable for #50?
Hi Zach,
For sure. We can add that to one of our future videos.
Find your block size by converting the relevant octet to binary (248 = 11111000) the last ON bit is your block size, in this case 8. Subtract 2 for network and broadcast addresses which leaves 6.
@@nousername9115 248 is 8 address to get 25... minus 2 (Default gateway +broadcast ip) = 6
@@aussietramp no the 2 address are the SUBNET address and broadcast address. The gateway would also be using one of the addressable IPs
It is great thanks, but it would've been nice to have somebody answering with their own words as opposed to answering as if a paragraph is being read.
You're welcome Enrique. Thanks for the feedback.
can people in the comments say how many of these questions came up in their interviews?
Thanks for your question Snow.
