Cats will accept a water bowl near food, but you could try moving it further away if you feel your cat doesn't like to drink. 🙇 Some general feeding tips not necessarily related to this video. Water should be changed several times a day (at least twice). If you have problems getting your cat to drink, try tall dishes instead of wide ones. I have cats who will only drink from a tall half-litre glass 😅 That glass was originally on the bedside table for me, but the kitties took it for their own 😂 Your cat doesn't always need that much water, it depends on how much fluid it gets from food. If, on the other hand, the cat only eats dry food (not a very good diet, except for the teeth), then the cat needs a lot of fresh water. About feeding your cat. Cats have a completely different digestive system from, say, humans and dogs. Cats are completely carnivorous and do not need vegetables (some can even be poisonous to cats, such as onions or garlic). Similarly, cats cannot tolerate cow's milk (in kittens cats still have an enzyme that digests lactose, in adult cats this enzyme is no longer present, so no dairy products for cats). I will try to put water away from the food area next time. Thank you! My husband used to own a dog so we are aware thay some food are poisoness for cats. ^^ We make a research then try to give food for him. Nowadays, we've started to mix with artificial free dry food (soften with lukewarm water) plus some boiled water and a bit of veges. But didn't know that cats are completely carnivorous!
